A Mountain City High-Altitude Haven | A Mostly Wonderful Stay with Minor Flaws Avoiding the National Day crowds, we chose MC High-Altitude Hotel, located right next to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. The location is unbeatable. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of Raffles City and Chaotianmen Pier, with the magnificent Jialing River scenery spread out below. As night falls and the city lights flicker on, the night view creates an incredible atmosphere. We booked two rooms; the king room came equipped with a tea table, perfect for brewing a pot of tea during downtime to enjoy a moment of relaxation amidst the journey. The panoramic bathtub also helped melt away the fatigue of a day's exploring. Considering the hardware and views, the value for money is quite impressive. However, there were a few minor regrets. The interior elevators require multiple transfers, making getting around slightly inconvenient. The public laundry room's dryers lacked sufficient heat and there weren't enough machines; with everyone trying to do laundry in the evening, it actually added to travel fatigue. I hope the hotel can optimize these details and soft services. Putting these small flaws aside, it's still a well-deserved positive review. If you're coming to Chongqing and want stunning river views, this is definitely worth considering.

Came here with kids. The location is super central and has everything you could possibly need. We stayed on the 49th floor and noticed a lot of foreign guests staying here. My ears popped slightly while taking the elevator up. Before check-out, the front desk asked about our stay and even gave us a pack of local spicy-sweet peanuts (guaiweidou). Very thoughtful service! Just a minor suggestion: the room is very spacious and even includes a tea setup, but the colors of the separate double sinks are a bit tacky (one red, one green). Everything else was great.

The room facilities were great and very clean. The front desk service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The view from the room window was fantastic.

The hotel arranged for us to stay on the 49th floor, offering a beautiful river view and a view of the Raffles City mall across the way. The hotel is conveniently located near the bustling Jiefangbei area. It's very convenient, with Chaotianmen subway station right outside. The scenery is beautiful, and breakfast is excellent. The hygiene is also very good. Highly recommended.
