Very horrible experience. My room was 0511, on the fifth floor, and the window just towards to the vent of a restaurant’s kitchen. Because of this issue, I couldn’t even open to window. The gas from the vent just destroyed my lungs, so uncomfortable experience! When I try to apply change the room, the front desk staffs and guest service staffs performed very unprofessionally. No actions, just delay and excuses. Just when I complained the thing to the manager, they then told me that they can provide room on 17th floor. Ridiculous! That was even meaningless, because next morning I need to check out. The thing is, when your room has this kind of problem, why you should sell it as the price of like a normal room? Horrible experience. Definitely was the worst ＜ The Ritz-Carlton＞ from room conditions to the professional level of staffs.
