Crowne Plaza ISTANBUL - ORTAKOY BOSPHORUS by IHG

The best hotel and location in Istanbul. It's beautiful and the staff are incredibly polite and respectful; smiles never leave their beautiful faces, as if they are from paradise. May they truly be from paradise. My regards to the gentleman downstairs who looks after the luggage and to Abu Bushra, the room manager. God willing, this will always be my hotel. It's close to a mosque, a seaside promenade or a Bosphorus bridge view, and almost everything else.

The room is nice and the rooftop view is great, perfect for a family trip. The location is a bit far from the old town, so I recommend taking a taxi directly. Public transportation is an option, but it requires transfers.

The soundproofing between rooms is poor. I'd like to thank the staff for their attentiveness, and the hotel's location is great.

The breakfast was quite basic, and the view was decent. At over 200 per person, you could skip it and experience local breakfast options instead.

The hotel rating is misleading; it's more like a 4-star. The water in the bathroom looked like the Yellow River. I called the front desk, and they said the hot water was broken, with absolutely no apology. They told me to just let it run for 10-20 minutes. I recognized the voice and it was the same rude front desk guy from check-in. Everything else was okay. I rarely leave reviews, but Turkey feels so uncertain everywhere.

The room was very spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. The cleaning was impeccable. A special thank you to the hotel's front desk staff. When I arrived on the first day, I realized my phone was missing, and they were incredibly helpful in contacting the taxi I had taken. Also, I arrived at 10 AM, and check-in was supposed to be in the afternoon, but the front desk warmly helped me check in immediately so I could take a shower and get some sleep to recover from a 10-hour-plus flight. I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel's location is excellent, with many cafes, restaurants, and various shops downstairs, and it's very close to the beach. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time. Oh, and one of the front desk staff's names was Bugra; I forgot the other person's name. Thanks again to all the hotel staff for their warm hospitality!
