AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa

From our window, we had a view of Neuschwanstein Castle. The interior decor had a classic, 'old money' feel, and the bedding was very comfortable. There's a paid parking lot with unlimited in-and-out access. Stepping out of Ameron Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa, one path leads up to Neuschwanstein Castle, and the other goes to Lake Alpsee. The breakfast spread was excellent, and some seats offered views of Neuschwanstein Castle. The bar and restaurant food were also fantastic, so we ended up dining at Ameron Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa for both nights of our stay. There's also a spa. We were very satisfied with everything.

The hotel facilities are new and clean, with air conditioning. The staff are friendly, and the location is superb. It's only a 2-minute walk to catch the bus to Neuschwanstein Castle and just a 3-minute walk to Lake Alpsee. You can see Hohenschwangau Castle and Lake Alpsee from the room, offering a truly beautiful view. The restaurant overlooks Neuschwanstein Castle, making it the best accommodation choice for visiting Neuschwanstein Castle. The breakfast quality is good, with a wide selection. It would be even better if the room had a smart TV.

I booked a stay with dinner and breakfast included. The dinner was excellent, and the hotel is right next to the shuttle bus terminal for Neuschwanstein Castle, which was super convenient.

The hotel's location is excellent. From the hotel's courtyard, you can see both Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle. It's also very close to the horse-drawn carriages and buses that go to Neuschwanstein, and you can walk to the lake in just 3 minutes.

We felt very comfortable in this hotel. Everything was clean, cozy, and nicely furnished. The staff were friendly and attentive. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back.

Right by the Alps River, the scenery is beautiful. However, you can only enter through the main entrance; the door near the rooms is exit-only, which is a bit inconvenient. It would be better if both sides allowed entry and exit.

Right by the Alpine lake, with lake views from the room. However, there's no air conditioning, and dinner was really bad. Definitely avoid the hotel's dinner package, and they even charge extra for water in the restaurant.

The room was tiny, quite cramped for two people, leaving no space to move around. We had to push our toiletries onto the bed to make some room. However, it was very clean, which made up for the narrowness. The breakfast baskets for bread were quite exquisite, something you don't often see in a breakfast room. A stroll in the courtyard was lovely, with the Old Swan Stone standing majestically before us after the rain.
