I had booked a room for myself and one friend. Upon check-in, the receptionist was extremely rude and spoke no English, which made communication very difficult. Also they don’t your guest come in what so ever and that’s very strange. We were then told we had to pay an extra €160. I agreed, but informed them I had no cash and offered to pay by card/online. The receptionist stated there was no card machine available, and if I did pay by card, the charge would be €210 instead of €160. Because of this, I was forced to leave the hotel and spend 3 hours trying to find an ATM to withdraw cash. I also had to pay significant extra fees to withdraw the cash. After finally paying the €160 in cash, we were sent to a room that was clearly for one person only, despite paying for extra occupancy. When we entered the room, it was not clean. There were empty bottles in the fridge and used, dirty bottles in the side drawers. This entire experience was humiliating and completely unacceptable for the price paid.

The biggest drawback is the soundproofing, which is a common issue with serviced apartments. You can clearly hear people walking in the hallway and doors opening and closing next door. Last night, I could hear the low hum of my neighbor's TV until midnight. If you're sensitive to noise, I highly recommend bringing earplugs.

This hotel is absolutely amazing, can I give it a 10 out of 10? 1. **Location:** Super easy to find, and the owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful. It's also very close to Taksim Square and Istiklal Avenue. 2. **Environment & Hygiene:** Absolutely fantastic! We booked a deluxe twin room, and it was like a suite – we each had our own space, plus there's a balcony which is very smoker-friendly. 3. **Service:** No need to doubt it! We wanted to eat watermelon every day and borrowed a knife from the owner every single time :) It was a truly memorable stay. I hope to have the chance to visit again. A big thank you to the owner for all their help. Highly recommended! And it's quiet for sleeping too.

The hotel's location is pretty good, and the owner and staff are really nice, always greeting you. The air conditioning works well and there's plenty of hot water. However, the air in the basement isn't very good; there's a strange smell that drifts in.
