1. Basic information
Ruyi Peak Cableway Scenic AreaA high-altitude leisure tourism project jointly invested by Shaanxi Junjing Ropeway Investment and Construction Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Shaanxi Tourism Group) and Guilin Ruisheng Tourism Development Co., Ltd. The total investment of the project is CNY 260 million. The attraction is located in Meng Village, Gaotian Town, Yangshuo County, adjacent to National Highway 321 and 5 km from the Gaotian entrance/exit of the Baomao (Guiwu) Expressway. It is approximately 5 km from core attractions such as Yangshuo's Yulong River, Moon Hill, and Ten-Mile Gallery, as well as the Lipu Silver Cave attraction.
2. Project construction status
The project aims to build a natural mountaintop park in Yangshuo, composed of the natural karst landscape "three peaks and two valleys" (Yuanbao peak, Ruyi peak, Necklace peak, Colorful stream valley, and Hundred flowers valley), along with creative attractions such as a cableway, Ruyi summit viewing platform, Ruyi suspension bridge, forest walking trail, glass walkway, and digital experience hall. Travelers can enjoy a panoramic aerial view of Yangshuo's unique karst peak forest terrain, traverse the woods to admire the Guilin landscape, and experience the joy of strolling through the forest!
The Ruyi peak cableway is 2012 m in total length. The lower station is located in the Xingtianle international tourism resort, while the upper station directly reaches Yuanbao peak, with a vertical height difference of 242 m. Its one-way capacity reaches 2000 people/hr, with a speed of 0.5–6 m/s (adjustable). The cableway uses equipment from France's POMA company, adopting a single-loop detachable grip 8-person cabin system. Its overall operation and safety systems employ advanced passenger cableway technology and a fully digital automated control system, with technical indicators meeting world-class standards.

During operation, the goal of zero safety production liability accidents was achieved, with no major complaints from travelers or parking incidents, and no fire or other personal injury safety accidents occurred.
November 2020,Ruyi Peak Cableway Scenic AreaAwarded the honor of "Guilin's top 10 attractions of the year" by the Guilin Culture and Tourism Bureau. On December 24, 2021, it was recognized as a "Contract-abiding and credit-worthy" enterprise in the 2020 Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region by the Guangxi Market Supervision Administration. December 28, 2021Ruyi Peak Cableway Scenic AreaAwarded the "Standardized enterprise for production safety" and "5S enterprise for service quality" certificates by the China Ropeway Association. In 2022, it was recognized as one of "Guilin's top 10 internet-famous attraction check-in spots" and "Guangxi's top 10 meteorological and climate view check-in spots," and was included in the "World karst scientific research and study route."

2. Ruyi cable bridge
The bridge is 142.4 m long and 2 m wide, with a height of 58 m above the valley floor. Standing on it, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Yangshuo's peak forest, while the slight swaying in the air provides a thrilling and wonderful experience.
3. Ruyi genting dream
Ruyi Peak is named after its ridge resembling the traditional Chinese auspicious symbol ruyi. Ruyi genting dream, the highest point of Ruyi Peak, is a 360° viewing platform offering panoramic views of the karst peak forest landscape.
4. Forest trail
Winding through peaks and valleys, this forest walkway spans 246 m with a central height of 32.5 m. Composed of a grid structure with tempered glass and steel grating, it resembles a graceful "rainbow" between the peaks or an aerial ribbon lost atop the jungle when viewed from afar. Walking along it offers panoramic views of the pinnacle scenery, allowing visitors to fully experience the thrill of traversing pristine forests mid-air.
5. Glass skywalk
The glass walkway is built suspended along the cliff wall, measuring 138 m in length and 1.8 m in width. Walking on it is thrilling and highly challenging. Gazing into the distance, one can see verdant pinnacle forests, wisps of smoke rising from villages, and picturesque pastoral scenery.
6. Singing and touring Guilin · Experience hall
Located at the upper station of the Ruyi Peak cableway, this immersive digital experience space creatively integrates karst landscapes and ethnic customs through digital technology and environmental art. It offers intelligent interactive experiences, allowing travelers to feel as if they are walking through a dynamic scroll of Guilin's scenery, creating the wondrous sensation of "roaming within a painting."

Show More ReviewsLovely lovely scenary, the cable car ride was very enjoyable. But my advise for anyone unfit, is not try to do the whole circuit. There are many steps to tackle, definately don't try it in a hot day. Very generous for them to extend the half price entrance for foreign visitors too.
