Fantastic stay at Hotel Vecchio Mulino! We stayed at Hotel Vecchio Mulino last August and had a truly wonderful experience. The owners are exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always available to help with any requests or advice about the local area. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. Another major highlight was the breakfast: delicious, fresh, and offering a great variety to start the day in the best possible way. We truly felt at home and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arbatax and the surrounding region. We would love to come back!

I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely property in Arbatax. The location is interesting—it’s situated in a neighborhood rather than a typical tourist area—which I actually appreciated. As a solo traveler, I also felt very safe, which is especially important to me. The staff was truly next level: incredibly kind, warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive. You can tell this is a family-run property, and there is an obvious sense of pride and care in the way everything is managed. The rooms have a wonderful, authentic Italian character. This is not a sleek, modern hotel, and that is part of its charm. I especially loved having the little balcony just outside my bedroom, complete with clips for hanging clothes to dry. It was such a charming and practical Italian touch, and one of those little details that made the stay feel authentic and special. Breakfast was beautifully organized, with a plentiful selection and something for every taste. The front desk was also exceptional and always able to offer wonderful recommendations and knowledgeable advice about places to visit, things to do, and ways to enjoy the beautiful surrounding area. Overall, I felt very well cared for during my stay. If you’re looking for a warm, authentic, family-run property with wonderful hospitality and a real sense of place, I would absolutely recommend staying here.

WE JUST GET BACK WITH MY WIFE AND A COUPLE OF FRIENDS. I FOUND THIS HOTEL MAGNIFICENT STARTING FROM THE BEAUTY OF THE VERY WELL-KEPT GARDEN, THE PERFECT CLEANLINESS, THE RIGHT ROOM FOR A HOLIDAY (MAYBE THE TV COULD BE BIGGER ps. I have to find a flaw!) WE WERE PAMPERED BY ALL THE STAFF STARTING FROM THE OWNERS STEFANO AND HIS WIFE, EVEN THEIR TWO BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN, THE WAITRESS AND THE RECEPTION STAFF PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY ALWAYS AVAILABLE FOR OUR EVERY REQUEST (A SPECIAL MENTION TO THE FRIENDLINESS, PROFESSIONALISM AND FRIENDLINESS OF CLORINDA) FINALLY THE BREAKFAST WHICH TO DEFINE SUBLIME IS AN UNDERSTANDING. Hotel located a few kilometers from the center. It features a beautifully kept outdoor garden and spacious, clean rooms. Breakfast is served in the garden; fresh, high-quality local products, from savory to sweet. The owner, Stefano, is a delightful person, professional and very helpful: he even booked us a boat trip along the beautiful Ogliastra coast. We stayed at this hotel for five nights. We felt welcomed and pampered.
