Great food, especially in our coffee breaks with delicious brain food! The breakfast and dinner offer was also nicely diverse and everyone's taste were fullfilled. The meeting room facilities were very handy and everything was on point.

We had a wonderful weekend in the mountains as a family of 4. Our kids loved the KidsClub, the care givers were super sweet and friendly, and offered colouring and crafts that kept our kids entertained while my husband went to the gym and I went on a quick hike. Food selection was great, even a selection of gluten-free bread at the buffet.

We really had a great time in Bayrischzell. Amazing place to stay with perfect service. Wonderful people and very nice village.

Truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is beautiful with many outdoor activities nearby. The mountain view from our suite was extraordinary. We enjoyed the variety of delicious food and beverages included with the all-inclusive package. I especially liked the access to coffee machines all day, including the frothed milk available for my daughter. The service at breakfast/dinner was attentive and the kitchen staff very friendly. Lunch was adequate and the afternoon coffee/cake was reasonable. The bar had very good drinks, although pricier than most Bavarian places. My young daughter loved the Kids’ Club activities and the pool area. My family enjoyed our holiday time at this hotel. However, there are a few things I would like to see: 1. More books and complete game sets in the lobby. Most books were torn/old and many games were missing pieces. 2. Towels were thinner than most comparable places. 3. Although soaps were available in the shower and wash basin, no other amenities were in place. For example, there was no body lotion, toothpaste, etc. 4. The pillows were not really to my liking. I solve that by bringing my own. 5. The parting gift for my daughter was a little disappointing compared to other Familotel locations. She chose a small plastic bottle of soap bubbles. 6. We received a coloring/sticker book when we checked in to be filled in as we completed tasks in the hotel and around the village. However, at checkout, no one bothered to look at how many tasks my daughter completed in her book. She was a little disappointed when we left as a result. 7. I was also disappointed no one bothered to call me by my name anywhere in the hotel for our entire stay, or even learn my daughters name. We had the same servers most of our stay and same Kids Club staff but nowhere did any staff member try make it more personal. 8. The curtains in our room were not lengthy enough to block out all light- but that’s just a matter of personal preference. Regardless of my list of grievances, this hotel and location provided for a unforgettable holiday for my daughter. She loved every moment and that’s why we came here to this familotel location.

We had a great experience at the hotel with our 6&8 years old kids. The food was amazing and there was so much to do. We are definitely coming back. Highly recommend

Pros: very nicely thought out hotel, with large well organised rooms, lots of amenities, good gym, several outdoor and indoor pools, playgrounds, a small stream to play in, great indoor playground for little ones, kids club. Lots of great sports activities for adults and kids. Kids club has different activities in the mornings and afternoons. Overall you can leave your kids with them between 10:00 and 17:00. They technically take kids from 3 years old, but our diaperfree 2 years 2 months old could also stay with the other kids, on his own or with us. mountains all around, conveniently located, 5min walk to town and train station, with very convenient connections to nearside lake, villages and Munich (1.5h). Cons: and these really bothered me a lot : 1. you can smoke pretty much anywhere on the outside. We couldn't air out our room because it immediately filled up with smoke from the surrounding balconies, same applies to the terrace near the swimming pools. The hotel should be smokefree, and people should be allowed to only smoke in a designated small area out front, where they won't bother all the guests who don't want to inhale smoke. 2. The internet in the room wasn't working. Given that we have two small kids, we couldn't exactly just leave them on their own in the evenings and at the same time could not work or do anything that was related to internet (neither wifi nor 3/4G) working. Overall it was a nice stay, I would and will recommend the hotel to our friends. We have not yet decides whether we d come back ourselves.
