My husband and I {as well as other family members} have stayed at the North Shire Lodge over several years for vacations. In 2023 we met the new Inn Keepers, Stacie and Brad , who have elevated the lodge to a new level. The location is beautiful and they have the rooms in very clean and comfortable condition. Pool area is lovely and back decks at each room provide a relaxing area to sit and view the mountainside. The location is close to many area highlights, and the rates are very reasonable. And you can't get better than the homemade hot breakfasts. Thank you Stacie and Brad, we will be back!

The location was great for our VT visit. The grounds and overall atmosphere was wonderful! The Room’s best feature was a sliding glass door that showed the front side lawn of property. The price was fair market value and included morning cold or cooked warm breakfast. Was definitely my favorite place to stay so far of several others frequented when visiting in same area. Brad and Stacie were great Inn keepers ! Plan on staying there again as favorite spot in area when we return!

We have been staying here for quite some time when we come to see plays in Dorset. North Shire Lodge hits all the marks. Wonderful hosts (including their delightful dog), comfortable, attractive accommodations. With a terrific view of the Green mountains. Janice & Greg Webb

We had a wonderful stay at North Shire Lodge. The lodge is set on a huge, beautifully maintained property with amazing views . The rooms were cozy, clean, and comfy. The owners were so nice, and the homemade breakfast was the cherry on top..
