Shinhwa Jeju Shinhwa World Hotels & Resorts

Make sure to book a room facing the pool for fireworks and sunset views. The water park is decent, but my child is a bit timid, so we didn't try any of the thrilling rides. This was my first time experiencing a pool party, and it definitely enhanced the atmosphere. Breakfast was good. Aside from the room being a bit small, there are no major issues. It's suitable for a 2-3 day stay; one day feels too short. Downstairs, there's a commercial street with various dining options. The 'Dashi Dai' food court has decent zhajiangmian, but it closes early, so go sooner rather than later. There's also a barbecue place that's quite good, located diagonally across from the theme park. The theme park really reminds me of Shijingshan Amusement Park; it's just fine for a casual visit.

This is a family-friendly hotel with a great atmosphere, and they even have a pool and fireworks party, which made for wonderful memories. The nearby buffet is also delicious; you could eat there multiple times and not get tired of it. Plus, the hotel offers a 20% discount coupon book.

Flawless! Great environment and friendly staff. The hotel is huge, and the front desk gave me a map since there are actually three hotels here. After checking out, I was able to store my luggage at the bar, which was super convenient. I could even drop off my luggage at the hotel bar before check-in time. Plus, they gave us free tickets to the water park, which was a nice bonus!

This resort is located southwest of Jeju Island, about an hour and a half by taxi from the airport. Drivers here tend to drive quite slowly, usually around 80 km/h at most. The taxi fare was a bit over 38,000 won. Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire resort and the speed is excellent. We booked a family room for two adults and one child, which had one double bed and one single bed – perfect for a family of three. The room was very new and clean, and it was cleaned once a day. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, but everything else is. There are three hotels in the resort: Marriott, Landing, and Shinhwa. I think Shinhwa is the best place to stay because it's close to the pool, the food street, and the theme park. Our room package included three theme park tickets. Each ticket allowed us to enjoy three rides, so a total of nine rides was more than enough for our child to experience everything. It also included admission for three to the water park. One visit to the water park simply isn't enough; there are so many attractions, it's incredibly fun!

The room itself was quite disappointing, honestly not even as good as a 300-400 RMB hotel in China for the price. However, we tolerated it because it included access to Shinhwa Theme Park and Water Park. Overall, it wasn't a great experience for adults, except for the infinity pool which was a highlight. The water park is definitely better suited for kids. The whole hotel area is built around a commercial street, making it feel a bit chaotic, but you can find pretty much anything you need. Don't expect much in terms of service though; it's practically non-existent. It really depends on what you're prioritizing when you book here.

The Korean vacation hotel was pretty clean, and the facilities were good; my kids really enjoyed it. The only downside is that Ctrip listed the children's breakfast at 28,000, but we were pre-authorized and charged 35,000 per day.

Overall, it was decent. However, for a resort, none of the front desk staff spoke Chinese. We arrived around 1 PM and had to wait 45 minutes to check in. On the first night, there was a draft in our room causing a constant noise, but after reporting it the next day, they fixed it. The room was quite small; we couldn't even lay our 30-inch suitcase flat, and the bed was tiny – our child actually fell off the bed the first night. On the plus side, it's very close to Mythical World. We received three basic tickets per person, which could be upgraded to a full pass at the park entrance for an extra fee. The park itself doesn't charge an entrance fee, but you pay for the rides. The park was very uncrowded, with almost no queues. There's also an animal feeding area which costs extra, but if you plan on visiting other farms later, you can skip this one. The hotel has a sky pool, and you can use your room card for unlimited access to the water park via a staircase, essentially giving you free entry to the water park. However, whether at the hotel or the water park, you have to wear a life jacket, which was a bit inconvenient. For food, there were only a few options nearby. On our last day, we discovered a BBQ fried chicken place that was really delicious.

Among the three hotels in Shinhwa World, this one boasts a sky pool and includes unlimited access to the Water Park during your stay. However, the tickets for Shinhwa Theme Park only allow access to three attractions. There's a park avenue nearby with convenience stores and restaurants, though prices are slightly higher than in the city. The breakfast is delicious, offering a wide array of local Korean dishes.

They were very strict about the 3 PM check-in time. We had to wander around for an hour with our child because we wanted to get the theme park tickets beforehand, but the front desk said we could only get them after checking in, so we had no choice but to wait until 3 PM. We booked a family room, but it only came with two breakfast coupons. We had to pay an extra 128 RMB for our child's breakfast. The breakfast didn't really suit our taste, and we didn't eat much, so it wasn't great value for money for us. Pros: The hotel's outdoor pool and water world are connected, which is convenient.
