Beautiful place with stunning grounds. We were 2 couples in villa 1. Although we had a fair amount of rain during our visit, we had fun exploring the island and loved the rugged beauty of this part of Pico. Rooms were very comfortable and wonderfully decorated. Luisa was so welcoming and helpful during our stay. We loved exploring the grounds and walking through the vineyards. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. We would definitely return!

A gem of a property - close enough to everything but far enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the island. Staff were helpful, polite, courteous and thoughtful. Highly recommend.

A ten out of ten. Such a unique spot on the island of Pico! Each room feels like it is on its own. Lots of places to relax on the property. They don’t serve dinner but it is not a problem as town is a beautiful walk away. Will definitely return. And definitely come to Pico if you are coming to the Azores.

Beautiful place by an amazing bay with clear waters and great views. Luisa and José did an amazing job restoring an old, abandoned property and its vineyard. By the way, their wines are very good. Magical place, hope to be back some day.

We really enjoyed staying here and wish we hadn’t booked so many tours; it would’ve been nice to just hang out. The location is a few kilometers outside of Madalena, but it was just a €7 cab ride to town. The setting is beautiful- you have the Atlantic with a swimming hole just outside the front gate. Inside there are rooms made of volcanic rock. There are plenty of little private alcoves on the property to sit and relax. There is also indoor sitting area with two hammocks. Our room (#3) wasn’t large but cozy. The walls were all volcanic rock. There was air conditioning, but we just opened all the windows and the breezes off the Atlantic kept the room cool. The owner is very engaged and works alongside her staff. Breakfasts were adequate and the WiFi was good.

Kleines Hotel in sehr guter Lage
Das Pocinho Bay Hotel hat nur 6 Zimmer, die sehr sauber sind, genauso wie die gesamte Anlage. Es gibt einen schönen Pool, wo jeder Gast einebequeme Liege findet. Die Zimmer sind gross und geräumig.
Die Lage ist sehr schön: ruhig, etwa 10 min (Auto) von Madalena entfernt, direkt am Meer mit einer wenig besuchten Badebucht. In wenigen Schritten kommt man also vom Pool zum Baden im Meer. Das ist auf Pico wohl einmalig. Auch die Aussicht auf die Insel Faial ist wunderschön.
