Dragonfly Ranch

Dragonfly Ranch is a magical place. Barbara and her team are amazing people who made us feel like friends. Those who love nature, spiritual healing, and an otherworldly place to relax will enjoy their time here.

Customers need to be warned that this isn't a hotel and the room wasn't really a room, but rather a screened-in porch. There were no windows to close - only screens. There was no shower, but rather a bathtub where people from the outside could see anyone in the tub. The bathroom sink was actually a kitchen sink that came with cockroaches. The bed was in very bad condition, sinking in the middle. There was poor lighting, no air conditioning, and nearly deafening noise from frogs outside. When we arrived, it was completely dark and to reach our room, you were required to climb a steep hill/driveway. The breakfast consisted of some cut up fruit, wheat bread, oatmeal, and coffee. The owner was friendly, trying to be accomodating and helpful.

The ranch was fascinating, peaceful, and refreshing. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff was splendid. We could not have asked for a better start to our first ever visit to Hawaii!

The Dragonfly Ranch has a lot of character and is a fun place to stay. Everyone was really friendly.

Funky charm was like staying in a treehouse with a comfortable bed and plumbing. Delicious organic breakfast.

Like you’re staying in a tree house. Very neat property. If you don’t like bugs, lizards, living in nature don’t stay here. We really enjoyed it. Sunset and water view from our room, the Lomi Lomi suite. Handmade breakfast was waiting for us in the am. Friendly and communicative staff. Good location too.

Breakfast was wonderful! Don’t be in a hurry! I was leary when I arrived in the dark…but fell in love with the place in the daylight! It was a great adventure! No glass windows…only screens. The frogs were loud…but slept so good! If you like noise machines, you will love it! The bedroom had a fan if needed. They had beach equipment to borrow if wanted. A wonderful snorkeling spot was next to the National Park…just a few miles from the Dragonfly Ranch. The ocean view was amazing! Barbara (and her staff) was a great hostess!

A very unusual place not a Holiday Inn so don’t stay there if that’s what you are looking for. Staff is great chat in kitchen while cutting up fresh fruit. Knowledgeable about local places and customs. Never slept so good ocean breeze fresh rain and frog singing
