Plaka Hotel

Great hotel for the price I paid. It was clean and had everything I needed. Good views of the Acropolis. It is located a short walk from Monastiraki Station. Room was spacious, clean and quiet despite being in a busy location. Breakfast was sufficient and tasty. I would stay here again!

Would recommend 100%! The view from my room was unreal. No complimentary water but it’s all good. Close to everything and easy to find from the metro station.

Location is excellent to explore Plaka area and the Acropolis is just a stone’s throw away . The night view from the roof top terrace is absolutely beautiful. You get to dine with the  acropolis before you . An amazing experience

Fantastic location, easily walkable to the main attractions and Syntagma Square for airport buses. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast was generous. We truly enjoyed our stay at Plaka Hotel.

I did chose hotel for location And because rooms have airconditioning. That’s basically what you get. Small room, bed was not too bad, Small bathroom Needs updating But friendly staff and great location

The hotel is in a perfect location for walking to shops, restaurants, clubs, and historical sites. The room type we had was fine for our situation, as we were out in the city all day and evening. The breakfast is very good, so take advantage of it. The staff is very helpful and nice. We arrived from a cruise around 9 AM, and they were able to get our room ready early so we could get organized for our evening. The large elevator in the building is quirky, so luggage management may take a bit. The rooftop bar and restaurant are excellent options to complete your day. The bar provides an excellent view of the Acropolis and the sunset. I highly recommend this location while visiting Athens. A couple things to consider - Some nights, the nearby bars can be noisy, but it wasn't disruptive to us too much, and if you are booking day tours from the city, you will likely need to walk to another location to meet your bus for the tour.

A fantastic stay! Location, location, location. Wonderful bed and clean room. And the breakfast was amazing. We wanted to stay on an extra night but was fully booked. We will be back! Highly recommend. 😊
