The Jeremiah Mason House B & B

Clean and well run, the proprietor is always thinking of her guests. This is a great location and provides clean, quiet accommodations for their guests. Highly recommended. Reasonably priced.

We had a great experience at the Jeremiah Mason House. The rooms are comfortable and extremely clean, as are the common and breakfast areas. Valerie is an outstanding host who goes out of her way to make one's stay exceptional. The breakfast is full and complete; you may well skip lunch. For dinner, the restaurant across the street is very good with two dining areas, a dining room and a pub with booths. The town is quaint and pleasant to walk around. Nice location to visit other historic hamlets, local sights and the lakes. Again, a great experience. We hope to one day return. Thank You Valerie! John and Cassie

Our one-night stay gave us a good feel for how friendly, courteous, and customer-oriented Valerie is. She strived to make everything right, and she did. I would recommend the Jeremiah Mason house to anyone wanting a stress free stay.

Had a wonderful stay at the inn with beautifully appointed rooms and high ceilings. Delicious home made breakfast was served with fresh eggs and home made muffins. A good restaurant is right across the street. Will definitely stay here again.

I had the most wonderful stay at the Jeremiah Mason House while traveling for work! The room was clean and beautiful, with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Valerie was exceedingly kind and even made sure to have coffee and breakfast ready for me very early in the morning before I had to leave for work. There is also a wonderful restaurant right across the street that I walked to for dinner. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful part of Maine, this is your place!

The reservation was made on the phone and the innkeeper sounded pleasant enough but I had to cancel as my own rental fell through. I called the next day to cancel and the call went to some answering service. I had prepaid for the entire stay of several nioghts. She had offered me a choice of several rooms and the inn appeared not to be very busy. When I reeived my credit card statement a few weeks later, the charges for the full stay were on the bill. The innkeeper said she did not get any call and was charging me as per her written cancellation policy. I never saw anything like that as I had called to reserve and did not hear any such draconian policy. She later removed most of the charges but was very unpleasant and unsympathetic. It was not that she a long line of peope wanting the room within the day or so before I called. I would never stay in any such place again and want to warn people about practices such as this. The final result was I still had to lose almost $200 because the woman was greedy and perhaps deperate.

Beautiful house, wonderful host and delicious breakfast. Just sorry that George the ghost moved out before we arrived!

I was relieved to find the Jeremiah Mason House B&B to stay in while I was taking a weekend workshop nearby. I don't usually stay in B&Bs because, as a vegan, it's usually impossible to get the &B part, but I saw that the owner offered vegetarian options, so I asked her about it before my arrival, and she was more than happy to accommodate my dietary needs with a delicious breakfast! In addition, the room (en suite) was decorated with love, the bed was comfortable, the wifi fast, the portable fireplace heater helped take the extra chill off nicely and quickly, and the shower was hot and good pressure. I would absolutely stay there again if I'm ever back in the area.

Valerie was an excellent host. She was communicative and ready to serve our needs. The home and room was very clean. Nothing much of a town but Limerick was a great stay over point before exploring the fall foliage.
