Hb Town

Hey everyone! Today I'm recommending a magical place that lets you instantly travel back to the Republican era! ✨ Huayi Brothers (Changsha) Movie Town is located in the Dawangshan cultural tourism area of Yuelu District. It replicates the streetscape of Republican-era Changsha. An admission ticket is required to enter; there are no free areas. The town features core settings like old Changsha streets, European-style castles, and Republican-era docks. With streets, Western-style buildings, vintage trams, and retro signs, it's full of detail. It hosts year-round street performances and immersive script-based shows, creating a strong atmosphere. Leveraging its film-set background, it's a popular spot for vintage photoshoots, Hanfu photography, immersive experiences, couple dates, and team-building trips. It forms a classic one-day itinerary in Dawangshan alongside Happy Snow and Happy Water Park. During the day, the park focuses on strolling through streets and vintage photography, with Republican-style street performances, acrobatics, and theatrical parades everywhere, recreating the hustle and bustle of the era. At night, when the lights come on, the castle night views and riverside lighting are even more photogenic. During holidays, special events like fireworks, parades, and escape room script games are added. You can rent Republican-era qipao, changshan, and Western-style dresses for photos. The streets are filled with local snacks and retro souvenir shops. Dining and costume rentals are at your own expense. It takes about 3 hours to leisurely explore the entire area. Daytime is better for photos, while the nighttime atmosphere is more spectacular. 📍Location: Dawangshan cultural tourism area, Yuelu District, Changsha 🎬Huayi Brothers (Changsha) Movie Town really feels like walking into an old movie! 🏛️[Environment and Atmosphere] Replicates the streetscape of Republican-era Changsha, with every brick and tile full of detail💯 Old Changsha streets, European-style castles, and Republican-era docks—three major themed scenes perfect for photos!📸 The streets also feature retro signs and vintage trams, making it feel like you've traveled back to the last century~ The best part is the year-round street performances and immersive script-based shows that really set the mood!🎭 📷[Photography Tips] Great for photos whether it's sunny or rainy! You can experience European style without leaving Changsha👣 Changsha is noticeably damp and cold in winter. The film town has many stone paths and open-air areas. Daytime temperatures are around 5-12℃, and the strong wind in the morning and evening makes it feel colder. It is recommended to wear a down jacket, scarf, and gloves. Indoor venues have heating for temporary warmth~ 📍Transportation & Tickets: Take Metro Line 3 to Tongxi Station, Exit 1B, then a 10-minute walk🚇, the top choice for students; self-driving parking costs 10 yuan per time, arrive before 10 AM to avoid crowds. In winter, buy tickets on the official website one day in advance to save 20 yuan. Night tickets are as low as 99 yuan. During the Spring Festival, there are special combo tickets including Zigong Lanterns🎫. 📸Must-visit spots: The Assisi Castle has amazing light and shadow effects from 2-3 PM, and the Roman columns offer a unique perspective for castle photos; Venice Water Street is less crowded in winter, perfect for unobstructed shots of colorful building reflections; after the Spring Festival Lantern Festival lights up over 40 lantern groups, the "Fantasy Mountains and Seas" lantern set is perfect for stunning photos✨. 🌟Winter exclusive activities: Watch the performances "Marco Polo's Travels" and "The Great Magician" during the day, with very enthusiastic NPC interactions; at 7:30 PM, the "A Dream into the Play" light show paired with the castle night view creates a full atmosphere, and there are romantic fireworks shows on weekends🎆. During the Spring Festival, there are also iron flower throwing, southern lion dances, and intangible cultural heritage markets, full of festive vibes. 🍜Food recommendations: The handmade Italian pizza inside the park is warm and fragrant. You can also try Changsha sugar oil rice cakes and stinky tofu, perfect for warming up and satisfying cravings. To save money, you can bring your own hot drinks. When tired, warm up in a café, all for about 30 yuan per person. ⚠️Winter tips: Wear flat shoes! Stone paths plus low temperatures can be slippery and tiring; for warmth, choose a windproof down jacket and fleece-lined shoes, and wear a hat and gloves for extra comfort; entering the park after 4 PM is best to avoid the cold and enjoy daytime, lantern, and night views all at once; check the park announcements for showtimes in advance and reserve spots early for popular shows~ There are fewer people in winter, so no need to squeeze in, making photo-taking and check-ins super enjoyable!

Huayi Brothers (Changsha) Movie Town is China's first movie-themed cultural tourism town, covering about 1,000 mu. With an Italian theme, it features 1:1 replicas of two classic scenes: the water city of Venice and the hill town of Assisi. Architectural details are restored from original Italian blueprints—St. Mark's Square, gondola boats, colorful island houses, and medieval cobblestone alleys. The moment you step into the town, it's like entering an Italian movie set. It's also a filming location for variety shows like "Great Escape" and "Who's the Murderer," so every photo you take looks like a movie still! 📸Top 5 must-visit spots | Every frame is an Italian movie! 1️⃣ Venice Water City—Gondola ride, arrive in Europe in a second🚣 The absolute highlight of the town! A 1:1 replica of the Venice canals and St. Mark's Campanile, with colorful houses lining the river. Take a gondola ride (approx. ¥60/person) through the canals, where the boatman will hum Italian tunes as the reflections sway on both sides. It's even more dreamy when the lights come on in the evening, and every shot looks like a postcard! 2️⃣ Assisi Town—Medieval hill town, the gentleness of Umbria🏛️ A 1:1 restoration of the medieval Italian town of Assisi. Cobblestone alleys, stone arches, and rose windows—everywhere is filled with the tranquility of the medieval Apennine Peninsula. There are fewer people in the deep alleys, making them great for photos; wear a light-colored long dress for shots that look like movie screenshots. There is also a church square halfway up the hill where you can overlook the entire town. 3️⃣ St. Mark's Square—Heart of Venice, pigeons and bell chimes🕊️ A replica of the iconic bell tower and winged lion column of St. Mark's Square in Venice. Street performers and NPC interactive shows are common in the square, and the bell tower chimes on the hour, adding to the sense of occasion! 4️⃣ Fantasy Light & Shadow World—Immersive light show, the night session is legendary🌙 A major immersive light and shadow experience hall upgraded in 2026! Holographic projection + sound, light, and electricity technology make the light and shadow flow across the building walls, as if walking into the world of a movie. The night session is the soul! Once the lights come on, the whole town is like a fairy tale world. 5️⃣ Movie Workshop + Escape Room—Immersive role-playing🎭 There are several movie-themed experience halls in the town where you can try dubbing, green screen filming, and more. There are also real-life escape rooms (extra charge) similar to those in "Great Escape," where you can interact with NPCs to clear levels—exciting and fun! 🗺️Half-day highlight route | Follow this to avoid getting lost!
