The location was the best part. The housekeeping left more to be desired though. They had not changed my towers for 2 days until I called reception before they changed.

Areas for improvement:
1. The elevators smell bad, especially the one at the very end.
2. I don't know about other floors, but the hallway on the 14th floor also smells bad.

4. The gym is very, very small.

Overall, the hotel is old, tired, basic, and the rooms are in desperate need of a refurbishment.

There are marks and chips all over the walls, and damage.
Tap was broken and toilet leaking from day 1 which took 3 days to fix. Bathroom had a mouldy smell.

The pool and gym are basic, and extremely limited.

I would not recommend this hotel by any means.
I ended up leaving one night early, and was glad to leave.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

The location is excellent, right above Central Station with a bus stop downstairs. There's a convenience store downstairs, and across the street, you'll find McDonald's, KFC, other eateries, and pharmacies, many of which are open quite late. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to Haymarket, Chinatown, and other attractions are also easily accessible. The cleanliness is just average; there was a lot of dust, and the shower water pressure was quite low. For breakfast, there were many pastry options, but fewer hot dishes. They offered yogurt, fruit, scrambled eggs, fried noodles, cereal, milk, and juice.

The hotel is super close to Central Station, just a straight walk from Exit 27. It's incredibly convenient, only a few minutes' walk to any kind of public transport.

The room size is decent for the price range, and the front desk staff were very professional. I loved that you could pre-fill check-in and check-out info online, which saved a lot of time doing it in person. The luggage storage is also a thoughtful touch.

The only issue was with the air conditioning. Even when turned off, it would automatically switch back on, which made it a bit noisy at night. It was also strange that the AC and the ceiling light seemed to be on the same system – if I turned off the AC, the light would eventually turn off too.

The location is super convenient, very close to the beach and Darling Harbour. The surrounding area is great for exploring too. I was on a business trip though, and my schedule was packed, so I didn't have time to go out and sightsee, which is a bit of a shame. If you're coming for a vacation, I highly recommend it.
