Admirals Quarters Inn

We had the absolute best stay in Boothbay at the Admiral Quarter’s!! Felt so at home and comfortable and the location was perfection! Amplified x 10 by our host Jersey! What a character, but he made us feel welcomed and cared for..such an unexpected bonus to our weekend adventure. Helped with planning and reservations and we truly felt relaxed in the Inn because of him. We will definitely be back Be sure you all take care of Joey too ❤️

Perfect location and service. Room was huge, super clean and comfortable. Love the kitchen access with all of the snacks. July 4th weekend was perfect!!

This small Down East hotel overlooks the harbor and is a short walk from shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable and ours had a great water view. Fresh flowers are cut from the onsite gardens regularly. Guests share additional kitchen and common spaces. Plan on spending time in the evening by the fire pit making s’mores. The manager, ‘Jersey’, was an amazing host. He gave us recommendations and helped us with reservations in town. He went out of his way to make our 40th wedding anniversary a special one. He even helped our friends surprise us with a gift from a local business. We will return again!

We had a wonderful time at Admiral's Quarters. We stayed there for our honeymoon in June and it was the perfect place! Jersey set up bonfires and smores for us in the evenings, which had a wonderful view of the harbor. We had a clean and comfortable room, and the inn was perfectly situated on the main street, just a short walk from lots of shops, restaurants, and the harbor.

We loved the location, the newly renovated room, and especially the shared kitchen! Jersey connected us with a local lobster fisherman and were able to pick up three fresh caught, live cooked lobsters (they were still warm at pick up) to take back and enjoy with a view - Delicious and affordable! It was definitely a perk to be able to use the kitchen to prepare side dishes, etc. The other upside to shared spaces is getting to know other guests, two of which we discovered had a close family connection to us. We had a great stay.

We traveled from Tennessee to Maine for a destination wedding in Georgetown on the coast and decided to spend a few days extra. We knew of a couple of town we wanted to visit but intentionally did not make advance reservations to give us options. When we arrived in Boothbay Harbor, we parked our car and walked a bit looking at the town but also scouting out a place. We came across the Greenleaf and Admiral's Quarters Inn and loved the look of it so we searched online and liked what we saw even more. Plus there were a few rooms open. We talked with the concierge, Jersey who was friendly and helpful. We looked at a few rooms but decided to splurge and stay in a nice upstairs space with extra room and a great view. The stay was perfect. The Inn was delightful and, to our surprise, came with the use of a partially stocked community kitchen and eating space. Jersey kept it stocked with beverages and breakfast foods such as eggs you could prepare but each morning he also put out fruit, breads and muffins and other breakfast treats. There was a Keurig coffee maker available at all times as well as bottled water. Each night on the front lawn, Jersey prepared a fire in a fire pit and there were benches. He supplied the ingredients for s'mores and people visited who told ghost stories. The guests who had no clue about each other before arriving had a great time around the fire at night. Jersey was also great obtaining in info about the area you needed and also made restaurant recommendations and reservations. This was a wonderful respite and while I'm not sure when we'll be able to return, if we do, we'll be staying again at the Greenleaf Inn and Admirals Quarters.

We arrived a little late due to a 1.5 hour wait (well worth it) for lobster rolls at Red’s Eats on our way to the Greenleaf Inn & Admiral’s Quarters in Boothbay Harbor. After a bit of a scare from my deadpan-humor wife, Jersey the manager lit the firepit (real wood, not gas – this is Maine after all) – his fire starting/building skills were topnotch as he built a roaring fire in a few minutes and he hooked us and the other guests with the ingredients for s’mores. It was nice to meet the other guests in such a relaxed, casual setting with such a nice view of the harbor. There are actually two inns – the Greenleaf Inn and the Admiral’s Quarters that share the same amenities. We were in the Admirals Quarters and only peaked into the Greenleaf Inn, as our place had everything that we needed. This concept was somewhat unique, for us at least. They have a full kitchen where guests can cook their own meals or simply store their restaurant dinner leftovers in the fridge (marking their items with the supplied marker and tape). Breakfast was provided (muffins, bagels, granola, coffee, juice, etc.) and everyone helped themselves – like a vacation rental. The inn also had a nice deck and sunroom, both with great views of the harbor. Now back to Jersey… He was probably the most accommodating and interesting innkeeper that we have ever met. He really went the extra mile to help everyone and he made our visit truly memorable. We’ll be back. He better be there… 😉

I only stayed one night, but I would choose to come here again for a longer stay: Very nice building with great common areas, right by the water, comfortable room. Well stocked kitchen with snacks, beverages, etc. The only thing that was not my style is the idea that if you wanted something more substantial for breakfast, eggs and such were provided, but that you would be cooking it yourself. It might be something others were into, but I like to be waited on a bit when on vacation. Luckily, there was a few places for breakfast very close by. Other than that, it was a great choice and I'm glad they had availability for the night that I wanted.

This was my husband and my 30th anniversary trip. Greenleaf inn and Admiral Quarters was so much more than we expected. Jersey checked us in and provided great recommendations. The room was very nice and comfortable. The view of the bay from our deck was beautiful. We had full access to 2 kitchens and they provided food for you to cook yourself or you could store your own items. Very walkable to everything. Had a fire pit every evening where other guests would gather. Everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be back and telling all our friends to stay here.
