This hotel is perfect for those who want be within walking distance to the Hollywood walk of fame and the Griffith Observatory hiking trail. It's also possible to hike the Hollywood sign if you don't mind longer trails. The room was basic and does the job. The free parking was a blessing for us and we really appreciated this. The swimming pool, although was small, was very relaxing and well maintained. The main downside is the safety of the area surrounding the hotel. We felt safe within the grounds of the hotel, but outside there were many scary homeless people.

Location was very close to the tourist spots like Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd. Lots of foos choices around.
Room was adequately suited for a family of 5. At night, it was ok however you can hear the sounds coming from the street but overall it is still OK
I would recommend this place given its value for money.

This was my first hotel in Los Angeles.
It wasn't particularly clean, but I was exhausted and had plans to leave early the next morning, so it was a good place to just sleep. There was a bathtub in the bathroom, but for some reason it didn't fill with hot water and there was still hair from the person who had stayed there a while ago, so I didn't use the bathtub and just took a shower. The bed was big, fluffy, and very comfortable! The receptionist was also very nice!
