The Singapore EDITION

I'm not sure if it was because of the New Year's rush or if we were treated differently because we're Chinese, but after checking in, it took 45 minutes for our luggage to be delivered to the room, and I had to call twice to follow up. When I was about to shower, I found hair on the showerhead. It took half an hour for the front desk to respond to my call, but they did eventually move us to a different room. Everything else was pretty good.

This time, I stayed at the Edition with my child, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Upon check-in, the front desk prepared coloring pencils and a colorful drawing board for my child. The room was already equipped with a special children's toiletries set and anti-slip slippers – the attention to detail was excellent. The staff's service was warm yet professional, and check-in was very quick. Every staff member I encountered along the way would greet me proactively, and they were very responsive when I had requests. The hotel is located in the city center, close to Orchard Road, and within walking distance to the MRT station, making transportation very convenient. The room facilities were well-maintained and clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Daily room cleaning was thorough, again with great attention to detail! The only minor drawback was that the breakfast's kids' menu options could be a bit more varied, but overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend it for families with children, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Singapore.

Beyond the nice lobby, this place has nothing going for it. Check-in isn't until 3 PM. The hallway to the room had a stuffy, damp smell. The only positive about the room itself was the decent space, but the window faced an old building with absolutely no view to speak of; it was so close it felt like you could just step across. We had an early 7 AM flight and only checked in at 3 PM, hoping for some good rest. But it was rumble, rumble, rumble, every three minutes – felt like I was sleeping on subway tracks.

Loved the hotel's style and all the greenery! The breakfast was amazing, and they even had special local snacks you could order separately.
