For a four star hotel this seriously lacked. Only provided shower gel and shampoo, no conditioner or care packages. No robes or slippers. Provided 3 teabags bags and 3 sachets of sugar and a sign telling me that they don’t replenish. So we had to buy coffee and milk from the shops. Provided 1 small bottle of water on arrival. Reception staff on arrival were unfriendly and unhelpful. Bar staff refused to give me ice to take to my room on multiple occasions. On the positive the breakfast was ok and there were plenty of sun loungers. Would not recommend or return.

Wish we had booked here instead of sister hotel. Seems more for adults. Pool area and reception very modern . Had evening meals here food was nice although a bit canteen style . Our drinks order was put down wrong but a lovely member of staff Anna corrected this for us do we wasn’t over charged at evening meal . I would definitely book this hotel if your after adult friendly and it’sister hotel is more child friendly .

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was one of the best we had. The hotel had a modern, contemporary feel and was so clean at all times of the day. You can hire towels if needed. You will need to take a hairdryer. Shampoo and shower gel are provided in the room. Be sure to catch the sunset at the bottom of the hill over the cove. Bus service runs regular , we caught the bus into Tarragona for the market. Once you’re in Tarragona , you will need to catch the number 56 bus which takes you to the market. Buses run every 15 minutes into salou and Portavemtura. We will definitely return to this hotel.

We stayed thinking it was adults only it’s not . Soo think before you stay if you don’t want to listen to screaming kids . Hotel lovely food great entertainments is at the sister hotel full of kids the gym is at sister hotel as well all equipment is broken . Ohh and if you don’t pay for a pool view you can look at the diggers ect and listen to Road works and delivery . So just a heads up . Taxi into salou about 10 euros bus is about 2.50 .

We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday at this lovely small hotel in Cap Salou, which was several km from the busy resort of Salou. It was everything we wanted. The staff were extremely friendly, especially Marina on reception, who was so helpful. We booked a sea and pool view and were allocated a top floor room, which was great. However, sharing with my granddaughter, a king size double bed wasn’t really suitable so we changed to a second floor room with two beds, which could be separated. We still had a pool view and glimpse of the sea so no problem. The bathroom arrangement was unusual but fine. The hotel and pool area was immaculate and sunbeds always easy to find. The meals were amazing with a huge choice of every course and dishes continually replenished. The food was the hottest I’ve ever had in a buffet and tasted ‘home made’, congratulations to the catering team. As we wanted a relaxing holiday and it was 30+ degrees, we mainly stayed at the hotel but also visited Tarragona by bus, a very interesting town and found some lovely coastal walks on our last day. Tip - walk down to the shop selling trips etc and buy a card for the bus, which can be used for the whole family. It was unbelievably cheap and the plastic card cost refunded when returned. You can use the amenities at the nearby Club Sun apartments and its supermarket but we preferred our quieter hotel. The access to the beach was steep and probably OK in cooler weather but not suitable for those with mobility problems. Would we return? Without a doubt!

Hotel experience staff need to learn to speak English better very hard to communicate if you have a problem ie no hairdryer in the room when you arrive or hangers for clothes rooms very small and definitely would not recommend for people with mobility issues as if you want to walk to the town which has very little to do in it you have steep incline either going down or coming back up to the hotel very little to do around the area and definitely not adult only horel

Our stay far exceeded our expectations. Lovely hotel, great staff, outstanding buffet breakfast and dinner - congratulations the chef team. The pool is a decent size and plenty of sun loungers, whatever time you arrived. The only slight negative is the strange bathroom arrangement, with sink in the bedroom and shower visible from the bedroom but we managed to find a solution, covering the side with a towel. We loved the location, near creeks but somebody with mobility issues may struggle as quite hilly. Cheap bus nearby for days out and lovely coastal walkway. Would definitely return.

We had a nice stay overall, with both positives and a few things that weren't really for us. The room was modern, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The standout feature was definitely the huge balcony overlooking the pool and the beach. It had plenty of space to sit out and relax, and the view was gorgeous. The only thing we really didn't like about the room was the layout. The shower was in the bedroom with a clear glass door, which was a bit awkward as we were travelling with friends. It meant someone had to step out onto the balcony whenever another person wanted to shower. It just wasn't a design we enjoyed. Breakfast was excellent – probably one of the best we've had in Spain. There was a great selection and everything was fresh and well presented. We didn't have lunch or dinner in the hotel, but we went to the bar for a drink on Friday night at around 9:30 pm. We were the only people there, which surprised us as the hotel had seemed busy during the day. There wasn't much atmosphere. We noticed the sister hotel across the road always seemed much livelier, with music around the pool and a better buzz. The pool area was lovely, although it felt quite quiet. We were enjoying ourselves in the pool and another guest asked us to stop playing, which felt a little strange as we didn't think we were disturbing anyone. One thing that could definitely be improved is the signage. It wasn't very clear where to find the hotel or the parking when we first arrived. The hotel is in a quieter part of Salou, so we found ourselves getting a taxi (around 10 minutes) whenever we wanted to go somewhere with more restaurants, bars and nightlife. That's just personal preference, but it's worth knowing before you book. The staff were pleasant throughout our stay and we had no issues with the service. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, particularly the balcony, views and fantastic breakfast. However, the unusual room layout and quieter location mean we're not sure we'd choose to stay here again.

Just came back from a lovely week Staying at the sunclub calavinya will be going back all staff were amazing couldn't do enough for you Food lovely nice and clean so peaceful enough sun beds for everyone nice location
