Villa Nora Hvar

Simply the best hospitality we've ever experienced. The place is located downtown, just a few steps from the harbor, very accessible. Air condition worked perfectly and the rooms were large enough. The staff did their utmost to welcome and accommodate us and all of our wishes. If you stay here, check out the hotel restaurant's dinner choices. We've tried most of the seafood dishes and they were all fresh and very well prepared. We'll surely be back!

It is described as “a restored, elegant and refined” hotel. When you are sat having a delightful breakfast in Lucullus restaurant I would agree totally. When you venture in further, particularly to your room, It feels quite old fashioned and slightly ramshackle. It’s however in a great location in the old town, with beautiful verandas with succulents growing from pots and for us house martins nesting above the shutters. The room was very clean and well equipped, but the bathroom particularly a little tired and dated. The bed was very comfy. There is a special family feel about the place. Natalija was a lovely friendly attentive host who picked us up from catamaran and helped us back with bags. Breakfast was fantastic, served with a smile, with lots of locally sourced food and great range of coffee Air conditioning and WiFi good Nice cosy beach towels provided on request

The Hotel Villa Nora is a five star gem in the heart of Hvar Town. The wonderful staff met us at the ferry and took us and our luggage up the few stairs along the beautiful stone walled alleys to the hotel. This is no corporate business hotel. It is boutique with large rooms (we had a balcony room) beautifully decorated and equipped. The bathroom was modern and comfortable. The included breakfast was complete, well presented and delicious. The hotel is only steps from restaurants, shops and the town Cathedral Square.

Amazing service and hospitality. I had a beautiful apartment for my room and the meals were exception with beautiful presentation and flavors.

Do not book here! I made a reservation in January 2026 for June 24-27, 2026 and was cancelled by the hotel June 11, 2026 without warning or explanation. Now I had to book another hotel, last minute during peak season when prices are higher and availability is low. Rude and no excuse for this. Book at your own risk!!! This hotel should be black listed and guests warned. Avoid at all cost.

We loved staying here. We were met at the port by Natalia and she led us back to Villa Nora Hvar. She gave us directions and recommendations on what to see and do. The breakfast in the morning was the best breakfast we have had the entire trip. Just amazing! We stayed in the family room which was perfect for my 3 kids, husband and myself. Great location and close to everything, but also tucked away off a side street. We will definitely be back!!!!

We had a beautiful room at Villa Nora. It was so clean and comfortable. The room had everything you could possibly want. Excellent location within a short walk up to the Fortress. Short walk to excellent restaurants. Natalija was an incredible host. She greeted us on the way from the catamaran, had orange juice and homemade cake to snack on when we arrived. The breakfasts were amazing, excellent cappuccinos. I wish we could have stayed there longer. Highly recommend staying there, you will not be disappointed. We hope to return!!!
