Kunsthistorisches Museum

The Kunsthistorisches Museum was built during the time of Emperor Franz Joseph to display the collections collected by the Habsburg Dynasty for hundreds of years. Historical Background The Kunsthistorisches Museum was built in 1872 and completed in 1891, designed by the architects Gottfried Semper and Karl Hasnaul at the time. The towering dome of the museum is impressive, and the museum itself is one of the most striking buildings of the 19th century. There are a series of collection exhibition halls in the tour hall, which are divided into painting exhibition hall, Egyptian oriental collection exhibition hall, classical collection exhibition hall, coin exhibition hall and art collection room.
