Hôtel du Louvre, in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the Louvre and the Seine River – truly a prime spot! You can take photos of the Louvre's exterior in the morning before the crowds arrive, and even stroll across the bridge where Leslie Cheung waved in 'Once a Thief'. The rooms are also spacious; the twin room is much larger than the double room. Complimentary water is provided, and there's also a water dispenser downstairs. The croissants at breakfast are delicious, but the main meals are just average (not worth the price). The only minor drawback is the rather small lobby, but that's probably due to it being a renovation of an old building.

My boss chose this hotel for a family trip and it was excellent. The environment is great, and the rooms are very clean.

I was pleasantly surprised to check in directly from my early morning flight. Bottled water was plentiful, and the taxi and luggage storage services were very convenient. Breakfast was decent, and it met my requirement of not having a corner room. It's very close to the Louvre, allowing me to enjoy the beautiful scenery at different times of the day. Overall, I was very satisfied.
