Hotel the Grang Seogwipo

Great hotel, good location, clean, big room, very nice staff, the mattress is a bit too firm. I work from the room and they arranged a good chair for me.

Chose this location as wanted to go the the beach but was raining all three day. No amenities provided but alot of food and shop around the corner, there is a black pork BBQ shop within 5 minutes walk. Recommended to those who want to stay at Seogwipo.

Service was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Guests are required to hand over their car keys to the receptionist so the hotel staff can park the car in their parking tower. However, on the day of checkout, at around 7:25am on 10/05/2026, there was no staff at the reception. We were rushing to the airport, but we could not find anyone to retrieve our car. We called the mobile number provided, but there was no answer. When the call finally went through, the staff member told us to go behind the counter and take the key ourselves. He also sounded like he had just woken up, which was very unprofessional and irresponsible. Thankfully, an ajumma came and helped us. However, when the staff member eventually arrived to help retrieve the car from the parking tower, there was no apology at all. This was a very stressful and unacceptable experience, especially when guests rely on hotel staff to access their vehicles. Please look into this incident and take action regarding the staff member on duty that morning. Also please ensure staffs follow the rules that are conveyed to the guest as it is misleading and might lead to severe consequences.

It was very near the the olle tourist Center. It’s a good choice if you planning to try walking the olle trail.
