Royal Marang Hotel

Great hotel easy check in. Good place to park car. Reception was friendly. The room was beautiful and looked out on to a green pasture kinda thing. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the scenery. good breakfast. all around would stay again. Easy to get to suncity. they provided an extra bed for a cost. The swimming pool was inviting and clean. in a safe area. a definite yes!

Beautiful property, excellent service and comfortable rooms, with a few areas that could definitely be better.

We had a very lovely stay, it was a good value for money for everything especially the rooms, we indeed had a ROYAL stay, we felt like we were kings and queens in our own castle

The hotel is ok but for a 5 star hotel and the amount being charged there are some improvements which needs to be done. the tv is outdated still having to use 2 remotes to control the satellite and the tv itself. Netflix and YouTube would be better on a bit bigger screen. There was a hole in the holder of the bathroom mirror. Certain furniture like chairs in the dining area needs changing as they are getting worn out. The king bed was not what I expected, they joined 2 beds together and we could feel a bump in the middle as the one bed was up and the other little down. So basically it was like me and my wife were sleeping in 2 beds which are put next to each other.

Avoid this hotel. Our stay at the Royal Marang Hotel was extremely disappointing and far below what you would expect from a supposed 4-star property. The first room we were given had no hot water. After more than 1.5 hours of waiting and several staff members checking the issue, we were forced to move to another room located on the opposite side of the hotel, carrying all our luggage again. The second room had a strong chemical smell (similar to eucalyptus/petroleum) that made the room almost unbearable. It clearly seemed that some cleaning product had been used just before our arrival — which is unacceptable, especially considering that I am pregnant and such products should not be used in occupied rooms. We had to move a third time. In the last room, there were no proper blackout curtains, so daylight came through the entire night. This level of service and room quality is completely unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be 4 stars. Very disappointing experience.

Enjoyed our stay, the romantic turn down exceeded my expectations. I would definitely come back. It is not far from Sun City.

Room clean and comfy. Food was very good. Sitting by the pool was very relaxing. There was a problem with the pool and out of use but the staff were very helpful and cleaned the pool which enabled us to use.

The place it's heaven, I mean full package the attitude from security all the way to reception and staff, everyone just so welcoming, the food top class, the kids even asked me to extend the days unfortunately it was fully booked for us to extend. Overall the place is 10/10 thanks Royal Marang.
