Celebrity City Hotel

Came for a concert and decided to look around. The hotel's location is super convenient, within walking distance to Chunxi Road, People's Park, and other spots. Finding food and dining options is also a breeze. Since we arrived late, the front desk staff saw we had a kid with us and kindly upgraded our room.

The interior and exterior environment, cleanliness, and service of Chengdu Celebrity Hotel are all excellent. The breakfast offers a rich variety, and the restaurant is quite spacious. However, most of the dishes are spicy. It is suggested to consider the dietary habits of guests from all over the country by balancing spicy and non-spicy options, or by placing chili seasoning separately so that those who love spicy food can add it themselves—this might be a better approach. Another shortcoming is that our room only had a single fixed showerhead that could not be detached for use. Although there was another one by the bathtub, water would leak onto the room floor while taking a shower. Nowadays, ordinary hotels usually provide two showerheads (one fixed and one movable), and for a five-star hotel, this should not be the case.

The room was clean, the bed was nice, and the bathroom had a unique style. I also took a bath, which was extremely relaxing. I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I visit. It would be even better if they could provide a complimentary breakfast.

The room has a distinct 'old money' aesthetic and is fully equipped with amenities. Even in an area packed with luxury hotels, it offers some of the best value for money. Because it felt such great value, we ended up extending our stay by another day. Getting around to all of Chengdu's attractions from here is super convenient. Extending the stay says it all—actions speak louder than words.

The hotel is at a similar distance to both Tianfu Square and Jinjiang Hotel subway stations, making getting around quite convenient. The room is spacious, located on a high floor with a great view, and overall very clean. Kudos to the convenient parking, which includes some ground-level spaces plus a multi-level parking structure. You just need to hand your keys over to the security guards for centralized management, and they will give you a pickup ticket. The hotel service is good. You can get a discount on adding breakfast to your booking, making it around 30 RMB per person. The breakfast is quite extensive and definitely worth adding. We mainly used the hotel in Chengdu for recovery. After running a high fever coming down from the plateau, staying here was quite comfortable and really helped me bounce back.

Although the hotel has a bit of an awkward name, its internal management is truly commendable. The lobby is spacious and bright, and the staff are warm and professional. Located near Tianfu Square, it offers convenient transportation. The rooms are clean, hygienic, and fully equipped. With five-star quality at a budget-friendly price, I'll definitely stay here again given the chance!

The hotel features comprehensive amenities and a prime location, not far from Chunxi Road. It offers standard five-star facilities and represents great value for money in Chengdu. Upon departure, the young lady at the front desk kindly helped me find a scale to weigh my luggage, saving me from a messy situation at the airport. The service attitude was excellent, and they flexibly solved problems. A well-deserved five-star review 👍

Close to Tianfu Square with convenient transportation, near Metro Line 1. The facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness, environment, and service are all quite good. The breakfast has a good variety, parking is available, and there is a gym and swimming pool. The price is reasonable, and it's just one subway stop away from People's Park and Chunxi Road. Fantastic value for money, highly recommended!

During the National Day holiday, my family and I traveled to Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou. We booked two rooms at this hotel and stayed for five days. The hotel breakfast was good with a decent variety. The self-service laundry room, however, had too few machines, making it difficult to do laundry during the busy National Day period. Room cleaning was inconsistent; the slippers were never replaced unless we reminded them each time. **Cleanliness:** The bedding was clean. **Facilities:** It's an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but it didn't really affect the overall experience. **Environment:** The hotel's location is excellent. It's very close to Tianfu Square Metro Station, with many dining options nearby. It's also within a 15-minute walk to Chengdu Museum, Science and Technology Museum, and People's Park. **Service:** Very good, generally met all our needs.
