Monkey king hotel (xiyouli)

A very satisfying stay! We were traveling with our kids and parents, and the front desk kindly upgraded our room. The location is excellent, the room is spacious and very clean. The Journey to the West theme was not just a hit with the kids, but the adults enjoyed it too. They helped us set up a bed rail, and children's toothbrushes and slippers were all provided. Highly recommended, no regrets here – it'll be our top choice next time we visit!

The facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, and service were all excellent. We even extended our stay by one night for two rooms. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Chengdu and will recommend it to our friends. Thanks a lot!

Facilities: The hotel is conveniently located on the 6th floor of Ruicheng Mingren. When taking a taxi, you just need to say "Ruicheng" and no navigation is needed. Hygiene: The room was very clean, and all the amenities were fully replenished. The slippers were very soft. Environment: It's more suitable for getting around by taxi, and the city center is very close. However, there are fewer dining options nearby. Service: The service attitude was good. During my stay, I added a housekeeper who was very responsive to all my requests. The front desk had a sweet-smiling lady who had a great attitude! 👍

Before my trip, I carefully selected the Xiyou Li Hotel, and I feel like it was a great choice. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center. Most attractions are reachable within half an hour by subway or 10 minutes by taxi. It's also conveniently close to two subway stations. There are many restaurants nearby, making dining very easy, including lots of local eateries that offer great food at reasonable prices. The hotel facilities are also very good; the rooms are clean, and the disposable toiletries are of high quality. My parents were very satisfied. Overall, I highly recommend it. If I go to Chengdu again in the future, I will definitely stay here again!

Successfully checked into the Journey to the West-themed hotel! It was an immersive experience, plunging us into the mythical world of the scripture-seeking journey. The scene recreations were incredibly thoughtful, brimming with details that truly set the atmosphere. Our room was spacious and tidy, with lovely soft furnishings and a very comfortable bed. The soundproofing and natural light were excellent too. It was such a healing and relaxing stay, perfect for unwinding. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, you're sure to have a fantastic time here.

The overall experience exceeded my expectations! The entire hotel is themed around Sun Wukong (Monkey King), and the facilities are well-maintained. The staff were gentle and attentive, making for a very relaxing stay. The room was clean, bright, and offered good privacy. The only minor downside was that as the weather is getting warmer, the hot spring tub only had cold water, so I couldn't enjoy a warm soak, which was a small disappointment. However, this is a minor flaw, and the overall experience was still fantastic. I would definitely choose this hotel again!

Environment: The hotel environment is great, very bright, and the decor is high-quality. Service: I can't praise the service enough, it's super good and they cater to every request. My friend was celebrating a birthday and they helped me decorate. The staff were very proactive in helping me with the setup, including the bed decoration, blowing up balloons for me, and even coordinating with me to prepare a surprise. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

I've stayed here many times. Whenever I'm in the North Gate area, this is always my first choice. The soundproofing is excellent, and the hotel itself is very quiet. The front desk staff are enthusiastic and respond to messages promptly. It's very close to the subway station and located right on a corner, making it easy to find. Plus, you can walk to Wenshu Monastery from here.
