H Avenue Hotel in Gyeongju

I had such a lovely stay at this hotel. I initially booked it for the close location to the bus station and it was 3 min only by walk. I also arrived at 2pm-ish whilst the check-in was only at 4pm but the receptionist didn’t even tell us off and even helped us with understanding how the laundry machine works. Room was so spacious and clean, although i found some hair behind the toilet door upon our arrival. But bed was super comfy, other customers were not loud or whatsoever. I highly recommend this place if you think of staying in Gyeongju!

The room was lovely, but the breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had at any hotel ever. Day 1 was white sliced bread, boiled eggs and slices of orange. Day 2 there was no breakfast at all. The receptionist said it was because the chef had been injured on the way to work. Does it really need a chef to boil eggs? 🤦♂️

Convenient location right next to the bus terminal and walking distance to some of the main tourist sites. Decent sized rooms and nice bathrooms with a large tub. Huge TV with built-in Netflix and YouTube. The owner is lovely. Bare in mind I never saw any staff around in the mornings, so if you're planning to arrive early, it could be a problem.
