Hotel de Nesle

The location is perfect—just a short walk to the main scenic spots. However, the hotel is quite old and the facilities are lacking, with shared bathrooms, only a thin blanket provided, and broken drawers. That said, if your priority is minimizing travel time to the attractions, this hotel is a convenient choice.

This is a budget level place to stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is no elevator so you could be climbing up to 90 stairs if your room is on the 5th floor. Our room only had a few wall hangers to hang things, but nowhere to unpack or store clothes. Small shower cubicle, but nice hot water. Our room had quaint paintings on the walls, very unique. Location is great, walking to cafes, the Louvre, Notre Dame, metro station, the River Seine etc

Wonderful experience! Lovely space, wildly helpful people and the location was amazing.

Basic accommodations, pretty much as one might expect in Paris at this price point. Street noise was apparent but tolerable. Shared toilet is tiny... even for Paris. I'm 6'3" & 250 lbs, tight fit, to say the least. The fact one has to traverse a spiral staircase to get to the toilet is a bit unnerving (especially in the middle of the night).

It was a cute boho spot. 30 Stairs with no lift. Major problem is they Locked the front door and You can’t exit without a key! Fire hazard! I had to leave at 6 am and checked the night before with the guy and he said just leave the key in the room. So I couldn’t get out the front door to the street and had to climb another 30 stairs(I’m 65) to get the room key to let me out of the hotel. Someone needs to call the Paris fire marshal or their equivalent.

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel de Nesle! Each room is decorated in a beautifully unique style. It felt very textured and genuine and warm—almost like staying in someone's home. The staff was so kind and helpful (staying up extra late to meet me, helping me find things, suggesting restaurants for dinner), and you can't beat being in walking distance to the Seine and the Louvre. I hope I can stay here again one day!
