This weekend, I booked a package through Ctrip, and the hotel upgraded us to a suite with two large beds. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel is located in a wetland conservation area, which is very quiet and well-preserved ecologically. Standing on the balcony, I saw little squirrels scurrying across the roof and various birds chirping. The breakfast was very extensive, and the Chinese cuisine showcased the chef's excellent skills. The hotel's service was fantastic; they were very responsive to all our requests. The hotel also offers rowboats for guests to explore Xixi Wetland, as well as travel photography services. This is a beautiful property in a traditional Chinese style. It was exactly what I was looking for. The rooms are well appointed and large, though as others mentioned, the two bedroom suite is more of a 1 bedroom plus den. I loved it anyway. Some issues with wifi and sewage smells were taken care of swiftly by the team. Dinners at Baiyun were delicious. I would definitely return.
