Show More ReviewsI highly recommend taking the cable car to Sanhuangzhai, unless you're a trail marathon runner. Around May 1st, the trees are lush and green, and the pink blossoms of the catalpa trees are particularly beautiful in the mountains. It even rained the night before we left, allowing us to see the misty Songshan Mountains and the rarely seen streams and waterfalls.
