Shanghai Disney Resort(Shanghai Disneyland, Shanghai Disney, Disneyland Shanghai)

Went to Disney on Sunday, September 6. In one day, I did 9 attractions + 2 castle shows + the parade + the fireworks show, and even took a nap! Accommodation🏨: Xiuyan Road Metro Station, Home Inn Neo Itinerary📒 (Photos 4 & 5): Woke up at 6:00 AM, took a taxi to❗️Melia Shanghai Disneyland, entered from the West Gate, and arrived at Disney to queue at 6:30 AM. 1️⃣ 7:15 AM Early Park Entry. Headed straight to TRON Lightcycle Power Run for the first attraction. Got on smoothly without queuing. The view from the front row is great and very thrilling. 2️⃣ Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. It showed a 50-minute wait, but it didn't actually take that long. Later it showed a 120-minute wait, so play this as early as possible. (You can do 2–3 attractions during the one hour of Early Park Entry. If the wait for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is over 30 minutes right after entering, I suggest going to TRON Lightcycle Power Run first.) 3️⃣ Soaring Over the Horizon. The attraction most likely to make you dizzy. There are different scents for different scenes~ Sitting in the front row offers the best viewing experience. 4️⃣ Roaring Rapids. If you sit in the middle, you might not need to wear a raincoat. 5️⃣ Pirates of the Caribbean. You must sit in the front row! The scene design is very detailed, the ride is long, and the queuing experience is also good. 6️⃣ Zootopia: Hot Pursuit. My absolute favorite attraction! 8️⃣ Dumbo the Flying Elephant. You can control the height yourself. 9️⃣ Ignite the Dream. While queuing for Dumbo, you can just catch the 11:30 AM castle show. Mickey, Minnie, and Winnie the Pooh are so cute~ After finishing these in the morning, I took a taxi back to the hotel after 12:00 PM (it takes quite a while to walk in and out of the park) to eat, sleep, and do my makeup, then re-entered the park in the afternoon to take photos! 1️⃣0️⃣ Mickey's Storybook Express. Re-entered at 3:45 PM, just in time to watch the parade on Mickey Avenue (Photo 6). 1️⃣1️⃣ Duffy and Friends' Voyage. At 4:35 PM, while taking photos at the castle, we happened to see the Mid-Autumn Festival performance with LinaBell. It was super crowded! 📷 The light was good in the afternoon, so we kept taking photos until evening~ 1️⃣2️⃣ Hunny Pot Spin. The ride is only 1 minute long! Be quick with your photos. 1️⃣3️⃣ Fireworks. Need to grab a spot in advance (Photo 7). Overall, it was totally worth it to do so much!

Summer Extended Night Sessions (Fridays/Saturdays in July-August): After the fireworks, the park remains open until 10:30 PM, allowing for a second round on popular rides or shopping for souvenirs. 2. Family-Friendly Route (Kid-Friendly, Low Intensity + Full Celebration Check-in) Suitable for children aged 3-12, avoiding thrilling rides, focusing on interaction, shows, photos, and playful experiences. 1. Upon entry, get stickers and buy cartoon headbands to help kids quickly blend into the atmosphere. 2. Morning: Photo at Mickey Avenue → The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh → Fantasia Carousel → Alice in Wonderland Maze (a great photo spot). 3. Noon: Dine at a restaurant near the castle, then wait in place for the parade so kids have a good view without walking far. 4. Afternoon: After the parade, enjoy Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Storybook Time, complete the Dream Passport stamping, and participate in wish collection mini-games. 5. Evening: Watch the castle stage show featuring beloved cartoon characters. 6. Night: Reserve a spot early for the fireworks show. The pace is relaxed to avoid long queues and intense rides. Family Tips · The park offers stroller rentals, essential for toddlers to save effort and convenience; · Mother and baby rooms are widely available, equipped with bottle warmers and diaper changing tables, locations can be found in the app; · Keep children within sight at all times, as crowds are large during parades and shows. 3. Outfit & Advanced Photo Guide (10th Anniversary Themed Shots) 1. Outfit Coordination · Main colors: white, light blue, light gold (matching the 10th anniversary starlight and castle theme), wearing similar tones blends well with park decorations; · Accessories: purchase 10th anniversary limited edition headbands, bows, birthday hats in the park to enhance the festive vibe; · Avoid: dark pure black clothes look dull in night photos, try to wear less. 2. Unique Photo Spots (Avoid Crowds) 1. Left pathway of the castle: fewer people, great for full castle panorama with 10th anniversary light decorations; 2. Lakeside of Fantasy Gardens: water reflections of the castle and fireworks, perfect composition; 3. Flower beds at the end of Mickey Avenue: 10th anniversary themed floral arrangements, great for fresh daytime shots; 4. Treasure Cove boardwalk: vintage style with celebration decorations, unique atmosphere. 4. Budget Reference (Single/Double/Family of Three Standards) Based on regular weekday tickets, excluding Early Access or VIP cards. 1. Economy (Single, approx. 600-700 RMB) Ticket 475 RMB + bring your own water/snacks + small amount of merchandise (stickers/pins) ≈ 600+ RMB 2. Family (2 adults + 1 child, approx. 2200-2600 RMB) Adult tickets ×2 + child ticket + 3 meals + desserts + family souvenirs + stroller rental ≈ 2400 RMB Note: VIP/Early Access cards are extra expenses, recommended for peak seasons to significantly save queue time. 5. Frequently Asked Questions & Tips 1. Can snacks and water bottles be brought in? Unopened snacks and sealed water bottles are allowed. Free drinking water is available throughout the park, so no need to buy drinks. Opened food, self-heating meals, and instant noodles are prohibited. 2. Can shows be entered midway or watched again? The 10th anniversary limited parade, stage show, and fireworks have no replays or additional sessions. If missed, you cannot watch them that day. Be sure to keep track of the schedule. 3. Will souvenirs sell out? Popular 10th anniversary items like plush toys, pins, and wish sticks sell out easily on holidays and weekends. It is recommended to shop in the morning. 4. What is the most convenient transportation? · Public transport: Metro Line 11 goes directly to Disney Station, a 5-minute walk to the park, most cost-effective; · Driving: Park at the Disneyland parking lot, daily fee about 100 RMB, arriving early gives priority to spots near the park. 5. Weather preparation Summer heat: bring sunscreen, small fans, wet wipes; rainy days: official raincoats are sold in the park, long umbrellas are not allowed. 6. Two-Day Detailed Itinerary (Deep Celebration + Attractions) Day 1: Pure Celebration Experience (Photos + Shows + Interaction) No rush for rides all day, check in all 10th anniversary themed decorations, collect all passport stamps, gather wish gifts, attend all limited shows, leisurely shop and try limited foods, focusing on immersive birthday atmosphere. For Zootopia fans, this land deserves a place high on the list. If big thrills are your priority, weigh the Hot Pursuit queue against your other must-do rides. You can still explore the land even if you skip the ride. 🚓 The main draw: Zootopia: Hot Pursuit You join Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde on a police chase through the city’s districts in a trackless ride vehicle. Expect animatronic characters, screen effects, sudden turns and spins. This is a story-driven indoor attraction. Disney lists darkness and small drops, so the family-friendly theme doesn’t mean every young child will feel comfortable. The minimum height is 81 cm. Children under 7 must ride with someone aged 16 or older. 🏙️ There’s more to explore outside the ride Look up at the Zootopia Park Apartments: animal residents appear in the windows during Disney Zootopia Comes Alive. You can also browse Fashions by Fru Fru or stop at Jumbeaux’s Café for themed treats. These details give film fans a reason to explore beyond the ride entrance. ⏳ Decide your queue limit first Check the Shanghai Disney Resort app for current wait times and operating information. Decide how much time you’re willing to spend before joining, especially if you only have one day. Considering paid Disney Premier Access? Check that the product specifically includes Hot Pursuit. Disney notes that its Premier Access route may bypass some scenes in the regular queue. ✅ So, is it worth prioritizing? · Love the film and its characters? Put Zootopia high on your list and leave time to explore. · Enjoy immersive rides but aren’t a big fan? Let the posted wait help you decide whether to ride. · Mainly want coaster thrills? Keep time for the attractions that better match your priorities. Save this before planning your Shanghai Disneyland day. #ShanghaiDisneyland #Zootopia #ZootopiaHotPursuit #ShanghaiDisneyResort #ShanghaiTravel #DisneyPlanning #ChinaTravel #travelersvoice #chinatravelcircle

Planning a trip to Shanghai Disney? Bookmark this post! Here are a few insider tips to ensure you make the most of your time and have a magical day ✨ ⏰ 1. Arrive as Early as Possible This is one of the most important pieces of advice. Crowds swell throughout the day, and wait times for popular attractions can get incredibly long. It’s best to arrive early and use those first few hours to hit your top-priority rides. 🎢 2. Be Prepared for Queues Even if you get an early start, avoiding lines entirely is nearly impossible. Before you go, pick out a few "must-do" attractions. Don’t try to do absolutely everything in one day—Disney even notes that it's difficult to experience every single attraction in a single visit. 📱 3. Download the Official Shanghai Disney Resort App This is a non-negotiable. With the app, you can: · View the park map; · Check real-time wait times; · Get directions around the park; · Plan your visit; · Find information about attractions; · Purchase tickets and select add-on services. 📸 4. Leave the Selfie Sticks and Tripods at Home This is important! Tripods, retractable selfie sticks, and certain types of stabilizers are not allowed in the park. Handheld extensions for cameras or phones are also prohibited. If you want to capture memories, it’s best to rely on your phone or a compact camera. 🎒 5. Don’t Bring Oversized Bags Every visitor must go through a security check before entering. Large luggage is also prohibited: the maximum bag/container size is 56 × 36 × 23 cm, and wheeled luggage is strictly forbidden. 🚇 6. The Metro is Incredibly Convenient You can reach the park easily via the metro; the stop is "Disney Resort Station." The park recommends using the metro, taxis, or other forms of public transportation. ☀️ 7. Dress for Maximum Comfort You’ll be doing a lot of walking and standing, so comfortable shoes are a must. Also, check the weather forecast before you go: Shanghai can be very hot, humid, or rainy—and the park experience feels completely different depending on the weather. 🎟️ 8. Buy Tickets Only Through Official or Authorized Channels Shanghai Disney Resort specifically warns against third-party sellers. You can buy tickets through the official website, the app, the official WeChat account, and other authorized Disney partners. 🍽️ 9. Factor in Time for Meals There are plenty of cafes and restaurants inside, so you don’t need to leave the park to eat. However, if you have a packed schedule, it’s a good idea to check dining options and locations in the app ahead of time. ✨ Most importantly—don’t just "rush" through the park Shanghai Disneyland is a place where you’ll want to do more than just ride the attractions; you’ll want to stroll around, take in the decor, watch the shows, and soak up the atmosphere. My advice: pick a few must-have attractions in advance and leave the rest of the day for spontaneous exploration ❤️ 📌 Quick Packing List: ✔️ Phone ✔️ Power bank ✔️ Comfortable shoes ✔️ Water/essentials (within park rules) ✔️ Charger ✔️ Pre-installed Disney app And the biggest takeaway—arrive early and prioritize what you want to see most. It can truly change your whole experience at Disney 🏰✨

Focusing on a relaxed, unhurried trip, stylish outfits for stunning photos, experiencing all attractions, and an immersive atmosphere, perfect for women seeking a leisurely trip with plenty of photo opportunities.   💡Pre-trip Preparation · Disneyland Early Entry Pass (240 RMB): Enter 1 hour early to grab a FastPass for Soaring Over the Horizon; fewer crowds in the morning for better photos. · Premium Guided Tour (3000 RMB): Kid-friendly, full-service nanny-style assistance throughout, recommended for families with children. · Stroller Rental (100 RMB): Save energy, available for rent. · Power Bank Rental (30 RMB/day): No need to carry heavy power banks anymore! The park offers rental services, which is very convenient.   🌟Day 1: Girlfriend Getaway · Morning: Balloon Photo Spot + Disney Castle 🏰 + Fantasia Carousel 🎠 + Gardens of Imagination 🌸 · Afternoon: Mickey Avenue + Marvel-themed + Frozen-themed (Limited to May 16th) + Toy Story Land + Fantasyland + Treasure Cove + Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure (a thrilling ride, bring a raincoat) → Photo opportunities 📷 · Evening: Mickey's Storybook Adventure → Castle Light Show → Fireworks Show (starts at 8:30 PM, secure your spot early) ➡️ Not recommended to wait in line at night, it's too tiring!  🌟Day 2: Family Fun Day · Morning: Ride Pirates of the Caribbean → The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh → Alice in Wonderland Maze (great for girlfriend photos) ➡️ Marvel Universe Headquarters for photos, super photogenic 📷! · Noon: Lunch in Disneytown, recommend Barbossa's Bounty! A bit pricey but the food is good ~📸 · Afternoon: Duffy and Friends Cavalcade ➕ Parade ➕ Summer Blast Water Performance ➡️ Photo opportunities 📷 and interact with the performances, soak in the Disney atmosphere! You can also try Roaring Rapids 🌊 once (remember to bring a raincoat and a change of clothes ~) 💦 · Evening: Watch Ignite the Dream – A Nighttime Spectacular of Magic and Light with the kids ➡️ Enjoy the nighttime light show and projection mapping, it's truly spectacular! 🎆

I spent ONE jam-packed day and honestly… you’ll want to stay way longer. The lines might look brutal (an hour + sometimes 😅) but nobody’s in a rush because everyone’s just vibing, soaking up the fun. Must-See Spots: – Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue: Family-friendly galactic shooter ride 🚀 – TRON Lightcycle Power Run: High-speed coaster for thrill seekers – Soaring Over the Horizon: Wholesome, cinematic views worldwide – Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure — trust me, this is not the regular Pirates, it’s mind-blowing! – Mickey Avenue: Perfect for snacks and street parades Practical Details: 📍 Location: Shanghai Disney Resort, Chuansha New Town, Pudong New Area, Shanghai ⏰ Opening Hours: Usually 8:30 AM - between 8:30 PM and 10 PM (check your date!) 🎟️ Admission: 399 RMB Tips: Dedicate at least two days here if you want to check out everything — one day isn’t enough to do all the rides and catch the shows. Patience is key for queues, so grab a snack, chill, and enjoy the Disney spirit. Plan meals early to avoid lunch rush in the restaurants. Getting Around: Take the metro Line 11 straight to Disney Resort station for max convenience. Food recs: Go for traditional Chinese bites inside Mickey Avenue or catch the ice-cream carts for a quick treat 🍦 #shanghaidisney #shanghaifun #disneymagic #themeparktips

#travelhackscircle Shanghai Disneyland without Priority Pass and without lines! Everyone's shouting, "Buy a Fast Track Pass and arrive at opening!" We did the opposite—and visited the top attractions three times in one day. Our process: 1. Morning: don't rush, but explore. We arrived at 10:00 AM, not just at opening. We bought our tickets on trip.com. Enter calmly (don't forget your passport), and don't even think about bringing a selfie stick—don't waste time on it; you'll have to check it in the locker anyway. Stroll around, get a feel for where everything is and how everything is set up. Take photos everywhere. Go on an attraction that's best experienced in daylight, like the "Dwarves"—get a feel for the line. :)) You'll visit all the other pavilion attractions in the evening. Because once the fireworks start, the lines will disappear. 2. Daytime: catch a ride and go relax. Download the park's app in advance with a map and online queue tracking. Without it, you're blind. Catch a ride with minimal wait time. The app can be downloaded from the official website (Android only). By 2:00 PM, we were quite tired and went to rest at the hotel. We stayed nearby and didn't have to worry about metro or taxi rides. 3. Evening: your golden time. We returned to the park by 5:00 PM. It would have been nice to take photos with the castle before sunset. And then, the closer you get to the fireworks, the shorter the lines for the rides get! You can ride two or three times at once, as the lines are less than 10 minutes long. Don't worry, you'll still make it to the fireworks. The seats right in front of the castle are already taken since lunch anyway 😉 Want to get a front row spot on the ride? Just tell an employee—they'll put you in a separate queue. Key tools: Official app (download from the park's website; there's definitely an Android version). Without an online map and queue schedule, you're blind. The "Shows in the morning, rides in the evening" strategy. #ShanghaiDisneyland #Lifehacks #ShanghaiDisney P.S. If you live far away, just find a quiet spot in the park and relax for a couple of hours. The stress-free experience is worth it.
