Hemu Taoyuan Villa

I was very disappointed with my booking at this hotel, mainly because the value for money was really poor. Let me start with the pros: 1. The lovely young lady from the front desk picked us up in a golf cart and helped us with our luggage. 2. The young man who took us to our room noticed we had a child and proactively brought us two extra towels and toothbrushes. 3. They actively helped me find a charging port. 4. The small garden is indeed quite beautiful and suitable for photos. Now for why I was disappointed: 1. There was a strong, pungent smell in the room. As soon as I entered, my eyes started watering, which clearly indicated excessive formaldehyde. This made it impossible for us to sleep soundly. I had to get up twice in the middle of the night to open the door and air out the room. And this was for a room costing 16/700 (I assume you mean 700 units of currency, and '16' might be a typo or reference to a specific room number/rate, so I'll interpret this as 'a very expensive room'). 2. Their own garden is completely open, so there are always outsiders coming in to take various photos, even sitting at the table and chairs outside my room for staged shots, which greatly affected the guest experience. 3. For such an expensive room, the toilet paper was incredibly poor quality and came in a tiny roll. Not to mention the room itself was tiny; it was impossible to go to the toilet in the shower room. The bathroom was completely enclosed, making the smell even stronger. 4. In the middle of the night, the chairs and tables upstairs kept making creaking noises, waking us up. 5. Although the location by the bridge is good, it also means the environment is noisy. 6. Don't have any expectations for breakfast; you might get one egg.

The room was clean and tidy, with a great view of the Hemu River right outside the window! Excellent! The service was warm and attentive.

Excellent! Located right by the river, it's very quiet at night. You open the door to a sea of flowers. Ms. Reba was very enthusiastic and polite. Highly recommended!

The standalone cabin was incredibly romantic. The swing outside the door was my child's favorite part. The first floor was for the bathroom and luggage, and the second floor had the big bed. Falling asleep to the sound of the flowing stream at night made for the sweetest dreams.

I want to highlight the location of this hotel first. It's right near Hemu Bridge, just a short walk away. The rooms are newly renovated and spacious enough to spread out your luggage. The hot water is quick, and the bedding is comfortable. What's even better is that it's very close to the bustling area – the night market doesn't quiet down until 11:30 PM – but this place is completely unaffected by the noise. Definitely my top choice for accommodation in Hemu.

The accommodation was spotless and in a great location for catching the sunrise. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel breakfast was just okay, but filling. Highly recommended.

The room was spotless, and the location in the old village is perfect. It's right by the Hemu Bridge, just off the Qiaotou station. You can see the Hemu River from the window and hear the sound of the flowing water, which was incredibly convenient for catching the morning mist at Haden (the second picture was taken right outside the room). They also have a restaurant, and I highly recommend their fried rice noodles, stir-fried noodles with shredded pork, baked buns, and spicy roasted naan – all delicious! The prices were quite reasonable for a scenic area. Finally, a huge thank you to the hotel manager and the Hemu Scenic Area staff! After leaving the scenic area and heading onto the Ahe Highway, I realized my bag was missing, and my ID was inside. I urgently contacted the hotel manager, who helped me find it. Then, the scenic area staff connected me with someone who brought it to the visitor center, allowing me to catch my flight! I'm truly, truly grateful!

The location is ideal and the surrounding scenery is beautiful.
