Gainesville Lodge

The renovation of the property is impressive! The staff was very kind and welcoming. The office/bar area is a nice amenity, room was clean and the parking is easy. Unfortunately, the air stopped working in the middle of the night and it was hot. We couldn't get it to work and there is no fan. The mini-fridge is only big enough for 2 cans. Bring a cooler.

Loved the location and the atmosphere of the hotel. It was a good size room, the bed was comfy and you can tell there was a lot of care put into every part of the room.

It can only get better! This facility opened its doors the day before we arrived. It was clean and new. Would definitely recommend it especially if you want to stay in downtown Gainesville near some great restaurants and bars.

Since the property has been newly renovated, it stands to reason that the experience should be good. Good basic accommodations were provided and it was comfortable and seemed secure. The staff was very capable and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. Only real complaint was a squeaky bathroom door and the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom. A little larger refrigerator would have made the the stay fantastic! The parking lot is tight and it is tough to park larger vehicles. Overall, a great place to stay.

Needs to have a fridge in the rooms. The little fridge that holds 2 waters is not big enough.
