Great little place that’s in a nice area close to nightlife and restaurants. Staff was great and personalized our room. Will definitely stay again. Entire place has been newly renovated.

The hotel was okay for a one-night stay, but I wouldn’t say it was particularly clean. It looked clean at first glance, but you could tell the room hadn’t been cleaned very thoroughly. Considering the price, it was just average. The bed was very small and not very comfortable. The air conditioner was terrible—extremely noisy and disruptive throughout the night. It also really lacked basic amenities. Not even a small refrigerator was available, which would have made a big difference. The hotel is very, very basic and doesn’t offer much beyond a place to sleep. If you’re looking for a no-frills hotel for one night and don’t mind noise or limited amenities, this might work for you. Otherwise, you may want to consider other options.

The rooms are nicely remodeled. They have the cutest mini fridge that only fits about two or three cokes. It’s adorable but if you’re looking to store food, you’ll need to bring a cooler. Very well done with the Remodeling. Needed to have some weatherstripping around the doors, but I think that was just overlooked on my room. I do, however, wish that there would’ve been a pool, especially being in Florida. Thank you for such a nice day and all of your staff was amazing.

Staff extremely friendly. We liked the bar in the lobby. Room was nice but the door/trim/ one wall was painted very sloppy it looked bad. Overall good experience we would come back

The property is older but appears to have been completely renovated. Everything seems to be like new! The office has a very nice seating area and a little bar with a chill vibe.

I had read reviews saying the property was clean. I was only looking for a place to sleep for myself and my daughter, as we would be leaving early to tour UF. I sent a message to the property letting them know we would be a late check-in, probably around 11pm. They said that was fine. I received an email that gave me the following information: Gainesville Lodge 3: (insert 4 numbers not leaving that information in case they re-use codes). We made it right before 11. Staff is only present 8a-8p. I found room 3 but didn’t see a key pad and the lighting by the room was sparse. I called the number that was on the office door for assistance. We did get that figured out. The email they sent me did not have a # symbol in it so even if I had discovered the key pad, it wouldn’t have opened. Once we opened the door, we were greeted with dozens upon dozens of dead love bugs on the floor. There were live bugs on both beds, the pillows, everywhere. While on the phone with management I said something about the bugs and they just said “we do the best we can and sweep when we can”. Needless to say, we did not sleep well. I kept feeling like something was crawling on me. When we went into the bathroom we found more bugs in the sink and all over one of the bath towels. It was absolutely disgusting. We left by 6:30ish because we simply could not be in that room any longer. Spend a little more and stay at a better property.

Cute little lodge. Clean and comfy. We got in late and left early but will return.

Cute renovation. Great bed. Easy location to visit UF. Would stay again.

Air condition remote didnt work, staff attempted to fix it but was unable too!
