Flagship Inn

The Flagship is definitely going to be on our next stay list. The pool was amazing especially for our very hot stay, not the usual Maine weather but the whole country was being hit. At least in Maine you could come outside without bursting into flames like the rest of the surrounding states. Staff was extremely helpful. It was nice to have the option of the continental breakfast, considering most of the other Inns don’t offer it anymore, especially for a family stay. Parking was perfect you pulled right up to your room to unload and park. The hotel room itself was clean but a little outdated.

The room was decent. This is definitely an older hotel, but our stay was perfectly fine. The price was was excellent compared to the other hotels a bit closer to the harbor. The pool looked very nice, we just didn't have a chance to use it. The free breakfast was really good.

The property was nice, the room was spacious and accommodating. The breakfast was good for a free continental breakfast wit crispy bacon each morning. The location was very convenient for Captain Fish’s cruises and Boothbay dining & shopping.

Pool was great. Breakfast although served late for me at 730am was good. I had to go across the road for coffee at 630am😩

The Flagship Inn was surprisingly great. The room was clean and had a sweet retro fridge and microwave. The staff was just lovely and responded immediately to a request for more towels. Kids loved the pool and the free breakfast was good. Especially for the kids. It was very convenient to the botanical gardens and downtown Boothbay.

We stayed overnight and found the staff to be very helpful, the room clean and spacious, and the complementary breakfast buffet was very good.

This is a budget friendly establishment. It appears the facility is making improvements....new door entry locks were being installed. The furnishings are low end and the bed was way too soft for our comfort. The restaurant advertised is not open but they do serve their breakfasts there. Breakfast was pretty decent. Location was easy commute.

Location was perfect for one evening - attending a wedding. Free breakfast was a bonus!

I’ve stayed here multiple times and always had a great experience — the location alone keeps me coming back. That’s what made this visit so disappointing. The floor in our room was visibly dirty. My daughter walked barefoot and her feet were black. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly in some time. Boothbay has limited affordable options, and this place has real potential. But cleanliness isn’t a luxury — it’s a baseline. I hope management takes this seriously, because I’d genuinely like to return.
