Novotel Canberra

Great location! The light rail is right in front of the hotel, and it's also very close to the main transfer bus station, making it super convenient to get to all the major attractions. We happened to visit during the Florida Strawberry Festival (Note: or Floral Festival depending on context, keeping it general as Florida flower/floral festival), and the free shuttle stop was just a block away—super convenient! There are also plenty of cafes and great restaurant options nearby. Although the room facilities and interior are a bit dated, everything you need is provided, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Although the room facilities are a bit old, they are very clean. The location is excellent, only a 3-minute walk from the city center and 3 minutes from ANU dorms. The bus stop is right downstairs. The Asian handsome guy at the front desk provided excellent service and even allowed me to check in early. I'm so sorry I didn't catch his name; I checked in around 10 AM on September 2nd. Many thanks to him! I will definitely stay at Novotel again next time I'm in Canberra.

The location is convenient, and the facilities are clean. However, it's already 2026, so why are they still using card insertion for the elevator and room access? There weren't many cups, good thing I brought my own. What kind of inhumane design is it to have the tissue box stuck to the sink? Just because Australian hotels are eco-friendly doesn't mean they should remove all amenities.

The location is super convenient, right in the city center with the bus station next door. There are no cooking facilities in the room, but they have a restaurant with a breakfast buffet and à la carte dinner. Public amenities include a pool and a sauna (though it was closed when I tried to use it in the evening). The service was friendly and helpful with any issues. Overall, it was great! 😍
