Novotel Canberra

Although the room facilities are a bit old, they are very clean. The location is excellent, only a 3-minute walk from the city center and 3 minutes from ANU dorms. The bus stop is right downstairs. The Asian handsome guy at the front desk provided excellent service and even allowed me to check in early. I'm so sorry I didn't catch his name; I checked in around 10 AM on September 2nd. Many thanks to him! I will definitely stay at Novotel again next time I'm in Canberra.

The location is convenient, and the facilities are clean. However, it's already 2026, so why are they still using card insertion for the elevator and room access? There weren't many cups, good thing I brought my own. What kind of inhumane design is it to have the tissue box stuck to the sink? Just because Australian hotels are eco-friendly doesn't mean they should remove all amenities.

The location is super convenient, right in the city center with the bus station next door. There are no cooking facilities in the room, but they have a restaurant with a breakfast buffet and à la carte dinner. Public amenities include a pool and a sauna (though it was closed when I tried to use it in the evening). The service was friendly and helpful with any issues. Overall, it was great! 😍

The location is fantastic! If you're taking a FlixBus, it's right next to the station, and also very close to the local bus stop and train station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. There are also plenty of different restaurants nearby, so you definitely won't go hungry – the only problem is deciding what to eat! (´▽｀) Although the hotel isn't brand new, and the water sometimes cuts out briefly when showering at night, it has all the necessary facilities and a great location, so I'd still highly recommend it.

Great room, very spacious and bright. The breakfast spread was fantastic, and the location is super convenient. There's a bus/train station nearby, so it's easy to get to the airport and local attractions. Just remember to grab a public transport card!
