Reviews of Novotel Ambassador Seoul Yongsan - Seoul Dragon City

Being in a complex of several hotels, there was a slight hiccup getting there but signage was clear enough. It was slightly chaotic during check in but the staff did their best to clear the queue as soon as possible and definitely no language barriers as all staff are sufficiently fluent in English. The offerings are pretty standard for a five star hotel and I enjoyed the spacious room, and its proximity to ipark and Yongsan station. I had an issue with the TV and a staff came up and fixed it for me which I appreciated (as opposed to trying to guide me on the phone). This is a hotel I would stay in again especially if I had intercity travel for its direct access to the KTX station. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory although I found the price steep for its offerings (good variety, average in taste), they even provide takeaway options should the dining hall get too crowded. Overall a good experience!

Excellent location steps from the subway, with a covered corridor that keeps you dry in bad weather. A large mall and a supermarket sit right next door, making errands and dining effortless. Unfortunately, the room is quite small, which limits comfort. Overall, convenient but the stay felt average.

The hotel is nice, it is very convenient from Yongsan station. I strongly recommend people to come for this visit. It is clean too.

Good hotel service, confortable beds with smooth bedsheet, convenient location with many transport options. Will stay there again should I return to Seoul.

Despite its name and premium price tag befitting a Novotel Ambassador, the room condition, location, and service all fall short of expectations. I don't recommend this place.

Location is good, room standard however room service did not do a good job in terms of cleaning.

This hotel gains point for being directly connect with yongsan station which connect to all the big line toward centeal seoul or other surburb. The staffs were professional and friendly and accomondatingstarting from check in throughout to check out dates. There is CU and bakery with cafe store right inside the hotel complex so everything was really convenient. The room is clean everyday during our stay with everything being refill and replace new everyday. Highly recommended for business or friend trips.

The location is great and no climbing of stairs at all with elevator to lobby from train station via link bridge. Room size is reasonable. 1 downside is the room floor gets slippery when wet.

The stay was ok, except that the ice bucket and cup was left uncleared. Location was great, connected to Yongsan station via a sheltered walkway. Take exit 3 towards Seoul Dragon City and take the lift to level 1 to the lobby. Nice cafes and restaurants in the Sin Yongsan area by bus.. Back to the hotel - the concierge tagged my bags to another name. I had to unlock my tablet with my fingerprint to prove it's my bag.. (my fault for losing the ticket and yay for security). 🤣

Convenient location to station and walking distance to office building area. Clean and good quality bed. Sleep well.
