Authentic experience, just what we were looking for!
The place was traditional and felt real. Toilets were good, as were the showers, all amenities were fine. I was a little apprehensive about the self check in but it was really easy and straight forwards. Japanese rice porridge was included and a nice touch. Overall, the stay was perfect, exactly what we wanted.

太喜歡這個房子了，可惜衹訂到了一晚，全程沒有跟主人碰面，全自助入住的形式。毛巾牙刷等用品是自取付費，還有自行車出租（每天每輛1000日元），另外每個人有200日元的税，開始很好奇見不到主人這個錢怎麼付，後來發現房間桌子上有預訂確認單和二維碼，直接可以掃碼付款！我們住的房間在2樓，房間裏有獨立的衞生間和洗臉盆，浴室是在外面公用的。房間真的好漂亮，孩子們很喜歡，以為木製房間隔音不好，但是意外的很安靜，我們不到7點就睡了，竟然也沒有任何聲音。早上還吃了粥，熱乎乎的白米粥，很贊！希望下次還有機會去住幾晚！

The hotel was great, with the nice authentic rooms and common spaces. Sleeping on the futon was actually pretty comfortable, so we enjoyed it a lot!
But it would be better if some accessories (like towels and toothbrushes) were included in the price in advance, so we wouldn’t have to bother counting how much we need to give extra while checking out.

This is an old-fashioned Japan house, so staying in it was interesting. You also can get free rice porridge in the morning ❤️

Very dusty and uncleanly, no staff at check in or for reception. Would not recommend for the price.

1 km from Kyoto Station, have to check in by self. Just 1 minutes walk to bus station and convenience store.

Very chill and comfortable stay, WiFi can be a little slow at times and you have to pay for your towels etc, other than that the staffs are all super friendly, speaks good English too.
