Haeilri Pool&Spa Hotel

The room was great, and the coffee shop view was amazing! It's super close to Udo Island Ferry Terminal, just a five-minute walk. Getting to Seopjikoji by taxi is also very convenient. It was a fantastic stay, truly put me in a holiday mood!

The best thing about this hotel is its location and the views. You can see Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) and Udo Island Ferry Terminal right from the hotel, and it's just a few minutes' walk away. In the early mornings and evenings, you can avoid the crowds and freely take photos at popular spots. You can even watch the sunrise from your balcony. It's also located right on the most beautiful section of Olle Trail Route 1. The hotel's cafe is absolutely gorgeous, and every single bread and drink item is delicious. We had breakfast there every day. For dining out, there are plenty of local barbecue and hairtail restaurants nearby, as well as convenient supermarkets for shopping, and even small pubs. There's a swimming pool in front of the cafe, which many people use. Our room had three floors. The first floor had a living room, dining area, a garden, and a private pool. Swimming and sunbathing facing the sea was incredibly relaxing. The second floor had a master bedroom with a large bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a sofa. The third floor was a large open space with two queen-sized beds combined, which could sleep four people, and a terrace. All floors faced the sea with beautiful views. We asked for two extra duvets, which were provided free of charge. On the downside, the front desk is in a small, cramped shed next to the parking lot. The service is often unattended, but staff are usually nearby and will come if you call out. When I asked for help bringing my many bags and my child to the room, the staff member flat out refused, saying "no, no, no" and just stood in the parking lot watching me struggle. It felt quite cold and unhelpful.

Reading the reviews, I honestly didn't have high expectations, but my stay truly exceeded them. First off, in the afternoon, my family of three enjoyed a relaxing swim in our private pool. In the evening, the lawn in front of the lobby looked beautiful under the sunset. Later, we sat on beanbag chairs, chatting with the sea breeze and drinks – it wasn't hot at all, just peaceful with background music. It was super relaxing and comfortable. In the morning, you could even watch the sunrise. Honestly, the cool evening breeze in summer is the best island vacation mode. Compared to my trip to Sanya during Chinese New Year, staying at the St. Regis and EDITION, there were too many people posing for photos, which wasn't relaxing at all. So, I was happy with both hotels I chose in Jeju this time: the Grand Hyatt in the city center and this one by the sea. However, to be fair, you don't spend a lot of time on Udo Island, so staying in the city is sufficient. If I go to Jeju Island again, I'd probably choose a hotel by Hyeopjae Beach directly. But those hotels don't look as 'Instagrammable' as this one, which is a dilemma. If I had to pick a con, the only one would be that the drinks at the on-site coffee shop weren't very good.

This is a beautiful hotel, conveniently located near the Udo Island ferry terminal and Seongsan Ilchulbong. It boasts a café and a pool with stunning views. The rooms offer great views, and there's a rooftop hot tub.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the mountains, so you can hike in the morning and evening and then easily return to the hotel. The staff member who helped us was Korean and spoke perfect English. The only slight hassle was sometimes finding them. The hotel itself was very comfortable, but the sole issue was finding a cockroach near my slippers when I woke up. As I'm particularly afraid of them, it left a bad impression. Otherwise, everything was fine, and it's understandable since it's in a mountainous area where these things are normal.

The environment here is fantastic, especially the coffee shop which boasts stunning sea views and is quite spacious, spanning two floors. Their sea salt bread is absolutely divine! Highly recommended! Even if you're not staying here, it's definitely worth a visit just for the coffee shop.

The room was fantastic, I was really pleased with it. It faced the sea, just like in a poem – 'spring blossoms, facing the ocean.' We even saw dolphins! This hotel is a popular spot for influencers, and it offers great value for money. They even provided bath salts and perfume as amenities.
