I’ve never given a hotel such a low rating, and I really don’t understand how Ctrip came up with 4.5 stars. I urge everyone to read all the negative reviews for this hotel before booking, as they truly reflect the hotel's absolute worst.
The location is decent and quite convenient, but the surrounding area is just so-so. The following comments specifically refer to Room 602, a triple room. It's relatively spacious. You take the elevator to the 5th floor and then walk up one flight of stairs to reach it. There's a very small balcony with two outdoor air conditioning units. I'm not sure which room the other unit belongs to. So, on a winter night, when someone else turns on their heater, guests in Room 602 will get a room with intermittent roaring noises. I stayed for three nights; the first two nights were extremely noisy. On the third night, perhaps that room didn't use the heater, so finally, there was no noise.
Inside the room, the electric kettle was broken, the toilet seat was loose, the hairdryer was broken, and the disposable slippers had soles as thin as paper. On the first night of my stay, I complained to Ctrip, hoping to change rooms. A Turkish guy came, and his attitude was terrible. He asked me what the problem was, saying they had no more rooms and that this was my own choice. I said that at least the hairdryer should be fixed. He said someone would fix it tomorrow, then walked away muttering unhappily in Turkish. Although I couldn't understand him, I could definitely tell his attitude.
The next day, I left the key at the front desk for them to fix the hairdryer and clean the room. The front desk replied that they clean every two days. So we asked for some clean towels. When we returned, the hairdryer was indeed fixed, and the towels were replaced. However, on the third and fourth days, there was no room cleaning service whatsoever. We didn't bother to contact them again, given the unpleasant communication on the first night, we tried to avoid further interaction.
One more thing: in Room 602, you can hear the elevator very clearly. Luckily, the elevator wasn't used much during sleeping hours. Finally, because Room 602 is on the top floor, the Wi-Fi signal was extremely poor.
There are so many hotels nearby, so please make your own informed choice.
