Waterfall Village Resort

The hotel is located within the scenic area, and according to the reception instructions, you can drive directly there using navigation. The hotel is very unique with a beautiful environment; I heard it was renovated from an old village, and some of the old trees are quite ancient. The rooms are spacious enough, and the facilities are good. The staff performance was excellent, and they communicated appropriately, especially Xiao Bai. From pick-up to drop-off, everything was arranged perfectly. They also provided detailed information about tourist attractions and注意事项, as well as recommended cost-effective restaurants. If I have the chance to visit again, I would definitely choose this hotel.

Let's start with the positives: The location is incredibly convenient, just across the road from a VIP center. The hotel has a nice design aesthetic; the entrance features photos documenting its development. They offer free Miao ethnic costumes for guests to borrow and take photos (about ten women's costumes are available in the lobby). The batik painting activity, however, is not recommended. Breakfast is decent, meeting four-star hotel standards. There's a welcome fruit plate and complimentary drinks. Now for the issues: 1. They don't offer guest pick-up/drop-off, and the location pin leads to the park entrance. 2. For two adults, they provided one large and one small pillow. When I inquired, the hotel said this was standard and I had to request an additional pillow (photo attached). 3. The room is small, comparable to the smallest room type at Hanting, with everything in plain view (photo attached). 4. The bathroom handle easily came off (photo attached). 5. The air conditioning panel was unresponsive and the room was freezing; the TV remote didn't work, so I couldn't turn off the screen. 6. After boiling water, the kettle lid accidentally fell into the kettle (photo attached). 7. Although there's a pool, it's an unsupervised large trough with only two sun loungers that smelled heavily of smoke. Children were entering the water in slippers, and some without swimwear. Needless to say, the water quality was questionable (photo taken without entering the water).

Our family trip to the Yaojia Waterfall Village Hotel far exceeded our expectations! ✨ The hotel environment is tranquil, surrounded by lush mountains and greenery, creating a fantastic ambiance 🌿. We stayed in a two-bedroom family suite with a spacious layout and an amazing panoramic terrace. The private courtyard hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing 💆. The entire suite was spotlessly clean, and all facilities were well-maintained. The staff were warm and attentive, and the hotel's location is convenient for visiting Huangguoshu Waterfall. Both adults and children found it very comfortable, and returning here after a day of exploring was incredibly destressing 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. It's ideal for a family vacation, and we'll definitely choose it again next time!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the VIP entrance to the Great Waterfall. I left the hotel at 6:20 AM and arrived at the VIP ticket gate by 6:25 AM. By 6:40 AM, I was the first person to enter the Water Curtain Cave that day. Staying at Yaojia and having the VIP ticket allowed me to easily enjoy Huangguoshu during the summer holidays. The hotel environment is great, and the staff are enthusiastic and friendly!

Very close to the magnificent waterfalls and the VIP service center. The room was clean, and the housekeeper in our group chat was very responsive. My child even got to try batik. However, the restaurant had a strong greasy smell during breakfast on both days. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen.

Butler Service: Butler Xiao Yang provided excellent service. Welcome Fruit: Fresh. A guesthouse converted from an ancient village, quiet and elegant. Very convenient for visiting Huangguoshu Waterfall.

Yaojia Waterfall Village Hotel is located right inside the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The hotel's main entrance is about 150 meters to the right of the sightseeing bus's 'Grand Waterfall Station'. From the 'Grand Waterfall Station', you can catch sightseeing buses to all attractions and the main scenic area entrance, making getting around extremely convenient. For photography enthusiasts, if you wake up early and turn left out of the main entrance, walking along the pedestrian path will lead you to a viewing platform opposite the Grand Waterfall, often called 'God's perspective,' where you can wait for the sunrise. The hotel offers 24-hour 'butler service,' so you can voice any concerns in the butler group chat. The rooms are elegantly designed and fully equipped with amenities. Afternoon tea is delivered to your room, and the self-service breakfast offers a rich variety. We had a distinctive and memorable 'sour soup fish' for dinner. If you're driving, you can ask the butler to register your license plate with the scenic area, allowing your car to enter the scenic area and park in the hotel's parking lot. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Pet-friendly, nice rooms, and a great location just minutes from the waterfalls.

The room isn't huge but it's well-designed and compact, with decor consistent with the hotel's overall style. All the hotel facilities we used were great. The hotel has a courtyard-style layout, making it feel like it's completely integrated into the scenic area. While the breakfast selection isn't vast, the taste and quality are excellent.
