Parnas Hotel Jeju

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, especially the infinity pool right by the sea – it's incredibly relaxing. The environment and service are top-notch, quiet and clean. Our whole family was extremely satisfied. We stayed for four nights and were sad to leave!

We stayed in Jeju for an 8-day, 7-night vacation, 5 nights at Parnas and 2 nights at Marriott. Our whole family preferred Parnas. The Parnas pool is huge, and breakfast is abundant with a rotating menu every three days, so even after five days, we didn't get tired of it. We booked a club suite, and the executive lounge food also had a rotating menu every three days, so our family loved going there every evening for some food and drinks. Parnas has plenty of public seating for guests to relax, and the staff are very professional and warm. After check-out, I quickly received an email from Parnas surveying satisfaction across various aspects, showing their dedication to service and focus on customer experience. Marriott, despite being the most expensive hotel in Jeju, was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was exactly the same every day with no variety. The brunch, while plentiful, was also identical on both days, which would definitely get monotonous if staying longer. Plus, the Marriott's layout is a bit complicated and involves a lot of walking around. If anyone is torn between Parnas and Marriott, I'd definitely recommend Parnas; it's more satisfying in all aspects. The welcome fruit and wine at Parnas felt much more thoughtful compared to Marriott's three oranges and a snack box.

The hotel is pretty good, very new, and the rooms are clean. It has one large bed and one small bed, which is great for families. My favorite part is the pool right by the sea – very refreshing to swim in. There's also a beach right next to the hotel. It's very close to the columnar jointing, about a 10-minute taxi ride away. Taking a taxi to Sookseong-do for Korean BBQ isn't far either. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, especially the pool, which is absolutely beautiful. The service is also very good.

This is my first time leaving a bad review. The downgrade from the JW Marriott was significant. For a room that costs over 8000 a night, it felt like a budget hotel. Not only was the room small, but I didn't even dare to use the bathrobes or towels; they seemed very old. Only the public areas were somewhat decent.

The hotel environment is excellent, and the scenery is beautiful. The staff in the lobby on the first floor are also very friendly, speak Chinese, and actively ask about needs and offer help. I will definitely stay here again next time.

The rooms are built on a cliff with unbeatable sea views, and they are spacious and comfortable. The room service fried chicken is absolutely delicious!

This hotel in Seogwipo is very comfortable. The sea view really depends on the weather, but everything else is good, except the room is a bit small. The breakfast is rich and I loved it. There's also a kids' play area, though there are fewer activities compared to last year.

I booked the Executive Suite without breakfast. When I booked, the room rate with breakfast was over 4000 won more expensive than without, so what did I do? The brunch spot next door perfectly solved that problem; while the menu wasn't extensive, everything tasted great and is worth a try. There's also a supermarket nearby, which easily meets basic needs, even selling cigarettes and alcohol. The suite was incredibly convenient for our family of four, featuring a small living room in the middle and two bedrooms, both with attached bathrooms. When checking in, I told the front desk I hoped to have a sea view, and the lovely lady said she gave me a 'full view' suite. And she was right! From the room, you could see the parking lot (mountain view) and also the sea. Exiting the hotel and turning right, you'll find the 600/601 bus stop. This bus is essential for getting around, and it's no problem to get to the Olle Market. If you turn right at the bus stop and walk down, you can reach the beach, where many people are surfing 🏄🏻‍♀️. I think the hotel's service attitude is quite good, with a pure resort vibe. Since I stayed at the Marriott when I came in April, I wasn't particularly amazed by Parnas this time, but it's still a very good hotel. The Marriott is closer to the city and more convenient, but it doesn't have a beach. Overall, Seogwipo is a great place for a holiday. If possible, it's best to come in spring; summer is too sunny and humid.
