Mia Resort Nha Trang

A very unique resort nestled right in the jungle. Surprisingly, there wasn't a single bug inside the room. While you can hear various insects calling in the morning, it's totally fine as long as they stay outside! The front desk staff assigned us a fantastic room with great privacy and a lovely ocean view. We ordered a few dishes at the Italian restaurant and found the prices a bit on the higher side, but the food was genuinely authentic. Having breakfast while looking out at the sparkling sea was such a relaxing experience. Absolutely nothing to complain about!

Everything was wonderful, except for the entrance into the water. Watching the sunrise was an absolute pleasure, so beautiful!

Aside from being a bit far from the city center, everything else was fantastic. If you miss the hotel shuttle to the city, a taxi is your only option. Taxis are quick, but a one-way trip costs nearly 100 RMB. So, if you plan on spending a lot of time exploring the city, this hotel might not be the best choice. However, it's perfect for guests who want to enjoy the hotel itself. Mia Resort Nha Trang is incredibly picturesque, with excellent and spacious facilities and surroundings. You could easily stay here for several days without feeling the need to leave.

The hotel environment is excellent, with breathtaking views. It's also very new, and the service attitude is great. Waking up every day to see the green coconut groves is truly blissful and wonderful.

Let's start with the positives: 1. The sea-view villa offers great scenery and a convenient location (just a short walk to the beach and restaurants). 2. The hotel has its own private beach with clear water. 3. The spa offers excellent value for money. Overall, the scenery is beautiful, but compared to the popular Anantara, the activity space and entertainment options at Mia Resort Nha Trang are not as rich, making a longer stay feel a bit boring. Now, for some bizarre incidents: This hotel has a very strong 'sense of order,' which manifested as follows: 1. On the day of check-in, the bedsheets had a huge stain (Image 1), which was disgusting. During dinner, the duty manager apologized and, after some pleasantries, offered two complimentary coconuts (the dinner cost about 500 RMB). I came for a vacation, not to fight for my rights, but this handling made me feel disrespected and extremely uncomfortable. The next day, I escalated the issue to Ctrip. After Ctrip's communication with the hotel, the hotel manager told us it was 'impossible' to compensate for the room fee. They offered two extra complimentary spa sessions, emphasizing 'extra.' The spa sessions we had already done, although charged to the room, could not be waived because a bill had already been generated (the front desk explained it was due to a system issue). 2. The laundry bag (Image 2) cannot be taken away. While waiting for our car after check-out, the front desk approached us and asked where the blue laundry bag from our room was. I said I had packed clothes in it. The front desk apologized and said it couldn't be taken and had to be left behind. In short, the overall impression is that the hotel staff are just doing their job, not serving your vacation needs.

Overall 1 star, service 1 star, value for money 1 star. Poor service, low value for money, not recommended, chaotic management. Among all the five-star hotels I've stayed at, this is by far the worst. Within 20 minutes of checking in, the same staff member knocked on my door twice asking if I needed room service. Less than 2 hours later, they called to ask if I wanted to order food. After that, they knocked on the door to deliver tea without me requesting it. When I reported this to the front desk, they initially argued but then admitted they had confused the rooms. There was no butler or guest relations service throughout my stay, only a brief introduction upon check-in. The cliffside villas lack privacy; they are right next to the hotel lobby and are extremely noisy. The overall experience was bad, not pleasant at all. Guests shouldn't have to pay for the hotel's mistakes. My vacation was repeatedly interrupted, the value for money was extremely low, and it was completely inconsistent with the price and positioning of Mia Resort Nha Trang.

Very good! The reception staff can speak English, the view is great, and there's a free breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30. You definitely have to try the pho they offer in the morning!
