Heritage Hotel Dea Hvar

Great stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Perfect location. Close to pier and old town.

We loved this little boutique family run hotel. The twins Ivan and Maury were very helpful and friendly. We loved that the free breakfast included lavazza coifee from a real coffee machine! And custom omelets and even crepes! The room was spotlessly clean and fresh and comfortable. We opted for a superior room Not sure what we up graded to lol! I loved that they had plenty of items in the vanity area in case you needed them and a lovely tea and coffee selection if you wanted something hot after hours The location was great for coming by boat or ferry. Very close to the riva and plaza St Stephen’s.

Be prepared for steps. Rooms clean and provisioned well, though unsure I’d give it 4 stars. Steps into the bathroom are tall as well…. Staff was nice, breakfast was solid.

Hotel Heritage Dea Hvar, not to be confused with the Heritage Hvar Palace Hotel, was a small family owned place with just the right amount of quaint loveliness and proximity to Old Town and the ferry. We walked everywhere. The rooms are all differently arranged, according to the space available. They are well-furnished in an understated way, with modern lighting, plenty of outlets, and a unique configuration. Apparently the family and relatives updated all the rooms themselves. We gleaned information (even where to go for Gelato) from the very friendly, long term employees. Breakfast was very tasty, and included in the price.

Our room was perfect and the staff were incredibly helpful. The breakfast was delicious and so was the cappuccino. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

If I could give them 6 stars I would! Amazing hotel, fantastic staff and great food. Shout out to Ante for trying to arrange a last minute wine tour for us on a rainy day. The location is great and tucked away from the busy parts of town so it was quiet. Don’t follow Google Maps from the ferry stop as it takes you all the way around when you can just walk in between the businesses to the street near the hotel (less steps). Or better yet, take Mate up on the offer to meet you and help with luggage. We wish we did. The room 202 was the best, with a terrace and couches to lounge. Comfy bed, bathroom and all the amenities you could need. Staff was so nice and food was great.

This was a perfect location for a visit to Hvar if you don’t want to be on the beach. We were amongst all the historical and beautiful cobblestone streets and within steps of the waterfront, the old city, etc. Hvar is not very big, so everything is easy to get to. The room was small, but efficient. There was a decent size closet and a small desk, and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was lovely on the outside patio. The staff was so helpful and met us at the ferry to carry our bags. It’s a lovely hotel—I’d definitely recommend.

A charming small boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, also very near to the ferry pier. We were just here one night but the room was comfortable (AC if needed) and breakfast was good, hot, made to order. No complaints. Would stay there again.
