How to use
[Install eSIM]
Before installation, please make sure:
1. Your device supports eSIM and is not carrier-locked.
2. Your phone is connected to a stable mobile network or Wi‑Fi.
 
After the first installation, the eSIM will be bound to the current device and cannot be transferred or installed on another device. Please confirm your device before installation.
 
Method 1: One-Tap Installation
Tap the “Install” button in your Trip.com app order, or tap the “One-Tap Install” link in the voucher to complete installation quickly (iOS 17.4 or later required).
 
Method 2: Scan QR Code / Manual Installation (Universal)
1. Open the QR code attachment in your Trip.com app order, and print it out or save it on another device in advance. (iOS 17 or later and some Android devices support saving the QR code image directly on the phone.)
2. Go to “Settings” > “Cellular” (iOS) or “SIM card manager” (Android).
3. While connected to the internet, tap “Add eSIM” or “Add Cellular Plan” (iOS), or “Add SIM” (Android), then scan the QR code to install.
4. If scanning is not available, you can manually enter the “SM-DP+ Address” and “Activation Code” provided in your order.
5. If Step 3 or 4 fails, your device may be carrier-locked. Please contact your carrier to unlock it before installing the eSIM.
 
[Enable eSIM]
Please complete the following settings after you arrive at your destination :
1. Turn off your primary SIM (or disable its “Mobile Data”), and turn on the eSIM line.
2. Enable the eSIM:
iOS: Go to “Cellular” / “Mobile Data” and select and enable the eSIM.
Android: Go to “SIM card manager” / “SIM cards”, enable the eSIM, and set it as the mobile data SIM.
3. Turn on “Data Roaming”.
4. If you still cannot access the internet after the above steps, please configure the APN and restart your phone (see below).
 
[About APN]
1. If you purchased an eSIM covering multiple countries/regions and cannot connect after arriving at a new destination, please switch the APN manually (it should switch automatically under normal conditions).
2. Path:
iOS: “Settings” > “Cellular” > “Cellular Data Network”
Android: “Settings” > “Mobile Network” / “Cellular Network” > “Access Point Names (APN)”
3. Enter APN: internet
4. Restart your phone.
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 00:00, 1 day(s) prior to the expiration date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 00:00 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
This product cannot be canceled after activation.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
Important note

[eSIM Requirements]

1. Your device must support eSIM

  How to check: Open the phone dialer and dial *#06#. If an EID is displayed, your device supports eSIM. If there is no EID, eSIM is not supported.


2. Your phone must be carrier-unlocked

  How to check: Confirm with your carrier whether your device is locked.

*Please make sure all the above requirements are met before purchasing. eSIM can only be used when all conditions are satisfied.


[eSIM Setup]

eSIM must be installed under a stable network connection (mobile network or Wi-Fi). Please arrange the installation time according to your plan validity. It is recommended to install within 6 hours before departure.


[Enable Data Roaming]

Please make sure that “Data Roaming” is enabled for the eSIM.
