The tour as a whole was very varied with well-chosen stops for wildlife and landscape observation. We were a little disappointed by the distillery visit – we had hoped to receive some information or a short tour. Instead, it was purely a shopping stop. Our guide, Iain, was fantastic – a perfect blend of in-depth information and entertaining details and anecdotes.

We can’t say enough about our guide, Tony! He was very accommodating with our schedule since we came during an off peak season. He is a passionate and proud local who showed us wonderful highlights of his hometown. What really made the experience special, though, was his sense of humor. He kept us laughing the entire time while still delivering tons of interesting information. Highly recommend Tony and his company!

An Excellent, Educational Day Out having never been to a Distillery before even at my age 🫢.. My Son thoroughly enjoyed his day out also.. I recommend this Bus Trip to anyone who has not visited a Cooperage or Whisky Distillery.. Our Lunch stop in Tomintoul was a Good choice visiting “The Whisky Castle” for Expert Advice and Sample various Whisky’s from Scot the owners Shop.. Our Driver Alan was knowledgeable in the History surrounding Aberdeen and Castles and Distilleries on the way over to Spey Side.. He was friendly and helpful, filling our day with extra sights.. Thank You for a Great Day Out..

Our guide Erin introduced us to the world of whisky. Her explanations were very clear, and the various tables used to illustrate her points were a welcome addition. One small suggestion to improve the tour: add French and Spanish subtitles to the introductory film. Well done!


