Our guide, Koljna, was very experienced, caring and professional. The visits to Škocjan Caves and Piran were truly amazing, and overall we enjoyed the trip. However, there was one important issue. Our group was combined with another group whose itinerary included Postojna Cave, Predjama Castle and Piran. This was not clearly communicated to our group in advance, and as a result our time in Piran was significantly shortened.★

Very friendly, informative guide and comfortable vehicle. A fabulous day trip. The Skocjan Caves were great to visit although, sadly, the lady we were appointed by the attraction to take us through wasn’t particularly helpful or informative. Our guide then drove us to a super viewpoint of Slovenia, Italy and Croatia. From there we went to picturesque Piran. Had time for lunch, a walk up to and around the city walls, visited the square and walked a little along the front. Predjama castle was our last spot for pictures and to learn of Slovenia’s Robin Hood and its history.★

Tomaš was lovely. Has plenty of historical knowledge and won't keep you bored, as he has loads of stories to tell as well as facts. The trip itself does not include the entrances to the places you'll visit but overall you can bet it will be approx 80-100 on entrance tickets. You get a lower price for the ticket to Postojna + Predjama, so that's a big plus - approx 47€. Then, there's the Bled Castle - 19€, Potna boat - 20€, and I already forgot how much it was the one to Predjama but approx 20 for sure. I'm not sure how the other tour guides are, but Tomaš definitely can answer any question about Slovenia if you have any 🤗★

Reviews: Truffle hunting & cooking tour

So much fun and educational too! We were treated to a welcome truffle drink and got an orientation to hunting. We met our guide Philippe and 3 dogs, and drove about a minute to the forest. From there, the dogs did their thing - and found 2 black truffles within 15 minutes! We continued to hunt and hike, and then back at the restaurant, we were treated to home made wine and lots of truffle treats - oil, honey, balsamic vinegar and truffle, cheese, salami and more. Then Ivana (third gen family member) made us all scrambled eggs and Parmesan with so much truffles!! She told stories and pulled us into her world. Lovely! The shop has lots of great products, the prices arereasonable, and all in all, it was a great experience.
