I love this tour of the many cities compacted into 1 day. It was perfect for our family of 5. Our tour guide Valerie, was very knowledgeable about the areas and history of the locations we visited. She also had handy links for places to eat and visited after our trip. We were especially impressed with her helping us with the kimono rental on our tour. She helped us with our kimono outfits and took lovely family photos. She always kept us informed along the trip, so we never got lost. We wished there was more time to explore however we know where to go when we come back to Japan again.

Although it rained heavily that day and my shoes were soaked all day, it didn't dampen my spirits at all. The deer in Nara were so cute, it was just a pity the interaction time was too short! The matcha ramen and matcha takoyaki in Uji weren't very flavorful; I felt the matcha drinks, matcha churros, and matcha grilled dumplings were much more delicious! Fushimi Inari was exactly like in the anime, magnificent! I've also attached photos of Todai-ji Temple, Byodo-in Temple, and the Uji River. This day was truly fulfilling and well worth it!

Overall, it was pretty good. 1. The itinerary was reasonably arranged. 2. We booked quite late, so the only available date was August 16th, but customer service still tried their best to coordinate a departure date of August 15th for us. 3. There were quite a few passengers. We boarded at the second meeting point, and the tour guide helped us adjust our seats so my daughter and I could sit together. 4. Areas for improvement: 1) Other travel agencies were at the meeting point, and they could receive the tour guide's WeChat or contact information in advance, but our agency couldn't. They also didn't give us the vehicle's license plate number; we had to find it by looking at pictures. This was very unsettling for tourists from a foreign country who didn't speak the language. 2) Don't assume Chinese tourists will be late (especially since the tour guide himself is Chinese). It makes people uncomfortable. If we were late, we wouldn't mind being left at the scenic spot according to the early arrival policy.
