The moment the car drove into Banff National Park, I was stunned by the scenery before my eyes - snow-capped mountains, lakes, and forests, spread out like a huge oil painting. Especially Lake Louise, the blue water seemed unreal, like a huge sapphire embedded in the valley. When the sun shone on the lake, the surface sparkled, and it was so beautiful that it took your breath away.

Nice view! A few degrees lower than Banff village! Bring extra jacket if you want to stay outside! They have indoor viewing seats available too!

A broad, straight road leads to the mountains and rivers on either side, ending at exquisite gardens and ancient houses. On both sides of the road, hotels and restaurants are lined up side by side, and on summer evenings, the place is bustling with people.

    1. You can ski at the three major ski resorts in Banff in one day. The three ski resorts are 15-45 minutes away from Banff town by car. You can also take the free bus to the ski resort (ask the clerk at the boarding point). 2. Adult ski tickets and ski equipment packages are 30% cheaper than the official website and on-site. But if it is a child, it is still cheaper to buy on the official website or on-site, and there is no child price for the package. 3. Ctrip reservations must go to the joint store of the three major ski resorts in Banff town in advance (BIG3 ADVENTURE HUG is next to McDonald's on BANFF AVE. Ctrip will give this address after placing an order) to pick up the cable car tickets and ski equipment. You can ask for the ski equipment to be delivered to the front desk of the major hotels in Banff for free, or you can leave it at the front desk of the hotel after skiing, and let the clerk pick it up at the front desk of the hotel for free. This is the agreement and common rules between Banff hotels and ski resorts. 4. It is best to go one day in advance! Because the clerk needs to help you match boots and snowboards, helmets and ski poles on the spot according to your height and weight, etc., which takes time. The store opens late the next morning, and there is no time at all. 5. It is convenient to drive by yourself, but you must use a larger SUV or VAN, because you must fold down a seat in the back row to put the long double board into the car. You know! If you don't drive by yourself, you can take the free bus of the ski resort with your board. 6. Greenway skiers, please pay attention! In the end, our family went to the most beautiful Lake Louise ski resort, but the greenway is too difficult, long and steep, and it is the Canadian greenway! We have no problem with the greenways in many ski resorts in the United States, but I rolled and crawled on the greenway of Lake Louise and fell all the way down (to explore the way for two children)! In the end, I could only take the magic carpet to the lowest level learning trail! The result of consulting the clerk: Mount Norquay and Sunshine Village ski resorts are suitable for beginners, but the most beautiful is Lake Louise ski resort. Disadvantages and suggestions: 1. Ctrip helps you book through a local contracted travel agency. After placing the order, the travel agency only lists the cable car ticket on the confirmation form given by Ctrip, so the clerk asked me to provide the confirmation form for the ski equipment, but I couldn't get it out. Later, only an experienced and patient female clerk was willing to help me contact the travel agency to verify that my reservation included ski equipment rental. Other clerks said they were powerless and asked me to pay more. Fortunately, I went to the store to contact around 2 pm the day before, and she asked me to come back at 6 pm to verify. It would be a complete tragedy if I went to pick up the tickets and ski equipment on the morning of the ski day! Here, please discuss with the travel agency again, and the confirmation form issued should state that it includes both ski equipment and cable car items! ! ! ! ! ! Strong request! 2. This package is suitable for self-driving, and the car model should be large and more convenient! English must be basically passable, otherwise communication will be difficult.

This place is famous. If you are from the south, I suggest you go and see it. After all, it is a world of ice. Take a special snow car. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the glacier. It is sunny and windy on the glacier. Wear more clothes. The service area under the glacier is very good. There are food and drinks. You can see the distant view of the glacier while drinking coffee. It is very comfortable. There are also tourist commodities.
