A lovely walk
This is a good flat walk on tarmac or grass. Views are lovely and there are a few benches and exercise stations along the route.You can get good coffee etc. at the Lock House cafe at Sluice Bridge.
Very well kept
A beautiful park for an afternoon stroll with the dog. We had been to nearby Snipe Dales for a walk but dog friendly is only a couple of miles so decided to extend our walk here instead. This park...

Nice place for nature trails and dog walks. Picnic area, activity things for young children.Novelty signs and information of interest.
Good place to meet outdoors
We spent most of the day here, on the hottest day of the year picnicing in the shade of the trees. It was quiet, dog friendly, and we were surprised at how few people were around. Free parking is go...
Nice place to visit
This was a pleasant surprise, I lived in Boston years ago and this has been made into a very nice walking area which used to be fields and wasteland.
